Taskmaster will be rammed.

Weird Elvana being in here.

Seems a bit weaker that usual, probably spent up on Taskmaster.

Doubt Taskmaster has taken budget away from anything else - T&C is very much a "play for a ticket" affair and so it's not like there was much budget to take away to start with.

Elvana makes sense, probably on Sensation Seekers after dark.

T&C posters only ever contain a fraction of the acts, so I'd still expect all the "usuals" (some of them have already self-confirmed).

Was hoping Elvana would pop up somewhere, but was expecting an early Woodsies or Park slot, certainly not T&C!  When they played Avalon in 2023 they filled the tent and had a massive overspill, so this is surprising.  Although a quick check puts Sensation Seekers as 4,000 capacity (Avalin is 3,000) so I guess it'll work.

Anyway... very happy to know Elvana will be appearing... and nice to see Primary School Assembly Bangers on the poster too! Yay!

Elvana have said they're playing at Sensation Seekers twice, and also somewhere else yet to be announced.

I wonder what Taskmaster will entail. It could be a smaller version of the Taskmaster Experience in London, or it could be like the original Edinburgh Fringe show with comedians who are already playing Glastonbury taking part. Exciting either way!

Elvana was great in Shangri La. Just depends if on at a convenient time.

Nothing will ever beat Leo and Yam in 2014 for me though- one of my all time top Glastonbury performances (and that includes music performances)

Lucie Jones is so random, but would be great.

Lucie Jones has been confirmed to perform at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival.

The WhatsOnStage Award-winning star will be appearing across three nights in the Astrolabe venue.

Jones will bring a full live band to the stage for a set that draws from musical theatre alongside other material. Her performances will take place on the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings of the festival in June, with exact set times to be announced in due course.

I wonder if Elvana's third slot could be opening the Other Stage?

Given that most of their likely venues have already announced, I think it just leaves Other, Park and Pyramid really!  I know Pyramid is unlikely, and I hope they aren't opening the Other Stage as that'll clash with Supergrass... but at least they are playing two other times!  Other opener on Saturday or Sunday would be fine by me though - LOL!

Hennig Wehn could well be an option, clash dependent.  Cabaret tent at headliner time is great fun

I was thinking that.  I'm struggling for headliners this year so that could definitely be under consideration

He lives down the coast from us both, and is very regularly at Hastings FC matches - he’s a very friendly fella by all accounts

Maybe I'm not fully awake, but isn't Cabaret a different announcement?

This poster more covers things like the Astrolabe, no?

From my perspective, the T&C poster is more of a sampler of acts from across the area. All stages covered, and plenty more still to be announced.

I am definitely going to catch her on one of those days. Worth it just to see her singing Defying Gravity!

    • Based on previous times that rules quite a lot out of early summer festivals into the August runs.
    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
    • I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
