Hmmm. If I could catch moat of Bootlegs set then make it for all of Maccabees on Park (and get a good spot) I'll be very, very happy. Quite a distance between those two stages, though.

Then a quick walk down to Other to catch the end of Prodigy... oh yes. Excitement level increase.

On Sunday legs? You’re a brave brave man.

Saw Cornwell on his own in Guildford years ago, was a decent.

I saw him at Bearded a few years back, much better than the version of The Stranglers that was doing the rounds at the time.

Would expect them to be back doing their regular "and friends" thing at about midnight on Sunday in Toad Hall.

Yes, hopefully. I've never actually seen them at Toad Hall. I've seen them on most other stages lol.

Could tgis be the year I finally see PP Arnold?

No, of course not, she'll clash with Rod.

Clashed with Diana Ross last time when she was on Avalon. Fated to always clash with the legend. She was ace in Avalon, mind

Not much for me there this year, which is a shame as last year's line-up was great.  Loved Manfreds and Ocean Colour Scene on the Saturday.  Red Hot Chili Pipers were great on the Friday, with a good crowd too.  Was hoping for another OCS-type headliner this year, but nevermind!

Will possibly go along to The Searchers and Bootleg Beatles if no clashes!

Worst scheduling, for me, was Toyah at Acoustic clashing with Blondie on Pyramid in 2023.  Horrible clash which should have been avoidable really.  Saw 15 minutes of Toyah, then left for Blondie.  Toyah was brilliant, was giving 100% and didn't stop smiling... hated myself for leaving!  Must have been crap for her to see the Blondie exodus.

Decent chance I'll be at Nick Lowe, will try to see The Bootleg Beatles too. Possibly Dhani on Friday, not that I'm overly familiar with his stuff outside of playing his Dad's stuff.

When I saw the line-up, I went straight to setlist.fm to check out Dhani's setlists... all his own stuff on recent tours sadly! Last Beatles/George cover was 2014... might try to catch the end of him if going to The Searchers.

if i remember rightly you go back of the acoustic stage.  I think I asked a steward as I could not find it last year either

If you carry walking uphill, passing the Acoustic tent on your right, the crew bar entrance is immediately on the right, near the top entrance to the Kidz Field. I went twice last year but was always a bit too early for anything going on.

Wouldn't you rather see someone do their own stuff though? Otherwise it's just a tribute act with added DNA

I wasn't expecting Roy Harper. As it stands now, this would be his first show in over 6 years.

A very special surprise. Interesting to read he’s worked with Jimmy Page, Pink Floyd, Paul & Linda McCartney, Keith Moon, Ronnie Lane, Bill Bruford, Chris Spedding and Ian Anderson. I enjoyed his comeback tour in 2016. Played some of his lengthy stuff, sort of psychedelic folk.

Indeed!  He's likely to clash with Alanis Morissette, so will most probably go and see her "do her own stuff".

Will hopefully catch The Searchers though... should warn you, most of their hit singles were originally by other artists...!
