I caught The Searchers, Hothouse Flowers, and the Bob Dylan Tribute.

Searchers absolutely superb. One of my (many) highlights this year.

Hothouse Flowers very good, but always are. Pretty much what I expected.

Bob Dylan tribute…, Personally, found it very disappointing. Mostly very obscure Dylan tracks, rather than the better known ones, resulting in a pretty apathetic crowd.

Nick Lowe is a very charming and likeable man and enjoyed his set in there immensely.

The Bootleg Beatles are also a lot of fun.

Also quite pleasant that there's still an area of Glasto where I feel like I'm one of the younger ones.

Agree with the Dylan tribute -

Starting with a song he never performed (I think) and another he never officially released felt a bit show off / know it all to me - though I did enjoy the stories.

Was nicely done, just felt it could have been a bit more accessible for those that aren't complete diehards.

Loved The Searchers!  I'm not even a fan of theirs, but knew every word thanks to hearing them (and other 60s bands!) all the time growing up with my 60s-obsessed Dad!  Great crowd, great band, great sing-a-long!

Such a shame the Acoustic Stage won't let their sets be filmed... apparently there have been complaints about the BBC not showing this set, with it being their last ever gig.  Not the BBC's fault at all.

he was great “I feel I should tell you all that Neil Young is about to start, it’s ok to leave if you want to” 😅

Then when NY started you could fully hear it and Nick said “told you!”

At that point I did leave and head to NY via some grub, Cinnamon Girl as I waited for my food by the Village Inn.

another amazing Saturday night at G
