No Chappell Roan, Pulp or FKA Twigs. Disappointed as they all seemed pretty nailed from what people had said on here

Pleasant surprise to see Wolf Alice and Weezer though

Ohhh I missed Wolf Alice on first review.

Overall I am pretty chuffed with that as a first drop! Plenty to enjoy.

Busta Rhymes, John Fogert and En Vogue not clocked by anyone.

I mentioned En Vogue about 10 minutes ago. And Busta has been mentioned too. They should be great fun.

every other year:

disgruntled people who didn't get tickets on line-up day: "that line up is sh*t... I'm glad I didn't tickets"

me: "Glastonbury is about more than the music maaaaaaannnn..."

this year:

me: "that line up is sh*t and I'm glad I didn't get a ticket"

I joke of course.... Black Uhuru and Prodigy is enough for me...  bah!

I'm seeing lots of acts I'm looking forward to seeing. Weezer, Deftones, Alanis Morissette, Nova Twins, En Vogue, Bob Vylan, Supergrass, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, Busta Rhymes, Amyl and the Sniffers, Beth Gibbons, Scissor Sisters. Plus lots, lots more. I like the headliners too. Especially Neil Young. And this is just the first poster. For me, this is looking like a great festival.

We’re excited to reveal our first Glastonbury Festival 2025 line-up poster.

The 1975 finally bring their incendiary show back to Worthy Farm to headline the Pyramid Stage on the Friday, while Olivia Rodrigo will close out the Festival on the Sunday night – headlining the Pyramid for her first appearance at Glastonbury since her memorable Other Stage set in 2022.

As previously announced, Neil Young will headline for the second time after an unforgettable set in 2009, while Rod Stewart will take to the Pyramid Stage in the Sunday legend slot.

Charli xcx is set for her biggest performance at Glastonbury after taking over the world with her BRAT album and tour, headlining the Other Stage on Saturday night. Loyle Carner will headline Other on the Friday and The Prodigy will close the Festival there on Sunday night with a show that will be their first here since the tragic passing of frontman Keith Flint in 2019.

RAYE returns to the Pyramid Stage to play penultimate to Neil Young on Saturday night, following her breakthrough set at lunchtime on the same Stage in 2023.

Perhaps the hottest new artist on the planet, Doechii, makes her highly anticipated debut at Glastonbury to headline the West Holts Stage on Saturday night. There will also be other first time Glastonbury sets over the weekend from a plethora of artists including Noah Kahan, Alanis Morissette, Gracie Abrams, Busta Rhymes, Lola Young, Brandi Carlile, Myles Smith, En Vogue, Amaarae, Cymande, Shaboozey, Osees and Gary Numan.

Biffy Clyro, Alanis Morissette, Gracie Abrams, Self Esteem, RAYE, Deftones, Father John Misty, Japanese Breakfast, Lucy Dacus, Noah Kahan, St. Vincent stand out without even listening to anyone else I've not heard yet.

That'll very much do for the first poster.

    • Id suggest they would need another new album before they play again - Otherwise the show is going to probably be very similar to the one they played at the last festival.
    • Absolutely not, I dont know of it selling out but they needed TFG and Skyvip to shift them. Biffy aren't either and they didn't go to TFG and I wouldn't say Kasabian are either and they sold it out the quickest. Liam Gallagher did Finsbury Park as well and subbed the Pyramid Stage, Noah Kahan did two nights at BST and subbed the Pyramid though that's a rare one. Finsbury itself will definitely not grant you top spot, that field can hold 100k      That's fair. I'm definitely in the camp myself that Fender and Harry are most likely.

    • I don't think he will announce restarting north sea drilling.    He'll hint at it instead and kick it down the road.   And the plan isn't for new licenses anyway.
    • LCD Soundsystem seem perfect for the outdoor circuit. I could definitely see them doing that.
