I've just read the last couple of pages.  Not only are you a weapon, you're clueless and also a bit rude.

Is there any need for the name-calling? It costs nothing to be civil! You should take the advice any good parent instils in you as a young'un 'if you've got nothing nice to say, say nothing!'.

Says the person who literally a couple of posts ago just called someone a thicko!

Sam Fender popped up on Elton John’s podcast yesterday and said that after his upcoming run of shows in Australia, he’s going straight back into the studio to make another record. Allowing 12 months to record that, and another 5 months to get it pressed etc., the album could be coming out early summer 2027.

Mercury Prize winner. Fastest selling album of 2025 (bar Taylor Swift). Would be wild not to have him on the top line next time around.

calling it now that Rock On is the result of someone feeding in a couple of years worth of posts into a GPT and asked it to create a troll user.

nah, just a regular troll... the posts are not sophisticated enough to be AI 🙂

Mod request please return to the headliner topic . Thanks

We're still way too far out for anything solid to discuss.  We might not even have even heard of one of the headliners yet - the next massive new thing, or it could be someone totally unlikely at this point who has a sharp rise in their stock next year!

Could 2027 be the first time with 3 female artists/bands?

We don’t even know if anyone is booked yet ? It’s still really early  . How many organise things this far in advance ? Taylor ?

Feel like quite a few acts now do book it that far in advance though, no? Obviously not every megastar but it feels like some do think that far in advance about their touring plans.

Guess that's the luck of the security in knowing that in 2027, people will still be prepared to book you and a crowd will show up.

Lewis as a sub imo. Although he's doing a swathe of headline shows next summer so maybe we'll get an idea of the hype for whether he could carry a Glasto headline slot from the reviews of those.

I'll make a prediction of what will not happen because my first predictions never happen. So let's say, Fender, Foos, Gaga

Lewis Capaldi Sold out all of them and added 2 extra I think which will sell out . I think the short set this year was the warm up to 2027

Oasis have ruled out doing it multiple times. There's no way Glastonbury books either of Sabrina Carpenter or Chappell Roan as Pyramid headliners - I know it's a pop festival but both of them are not the right type of pop to headline Glastonbury. I can't see Harry Styles doing it either, although he is the right type of pop for  the festival. Foals and Imagine Dragons aren't big enough to headline Other. Lorde hasn't been relevant for years and would be a strange booking,

This has to be a wind up right? Oasis haven’t ruled anything out. Carpenter, Styles and Roan are entirely Pyramid headliners whether I like them or not. All the acts I mentioned are Other headliner level. Lorde played this year.

Cone on, this is someone just posting horseshit to keep the posting level up with a fallow year ahead isn’t it? Own up.

Both of them were bashing the festival only this year.

You do never know with them - LG will say one thing and do the other, but they did kind of rule themselves out.

I think at least a couple of the next few years will have 2 female headliners. Olivia Dean doing 6 nights at the o2 and Raye is too I think (I'd previously really underestimated her popularity. Add in Sabrina and Chappell as well as the more outside possibilities of Rihanna and Taylor. There are probs a few more I am forgetting too.

It's 2025 and people are still taking anything the gallagher brothers take seriously. Obviously they both love glastonbury. They go all the time and have both subbed recently.

More than they love a payday?

edit: as i said, you never know with them I am not ruling them out by any means.

Lana Del Rey redemption Arc Headlinign for free and doing an extra long set?

Just kidding I think that ship has probably sailed or at least its too soon.

I would recommend disregarding anything Liam Gallagher says on twatter he is not an accurate source of information on Liam Gallagher -  he enjoys winding people up by randomly confirming things they ask or denying things he is doing -

I have said before I do think there’s a chance LDR comes back to the farm one day but not for a good few years at least.  It seems like her live reputation has gotten better since then but there have still been accounts of her being late so it is still a gamble.

He's not selling out Roundhay Park near me.

He has sold out a BST show though and seems to be selling the second one alright.

Not the strongest headliner by any means but Neil Young couldn't sell out his single BST this year (or it sold out very late on). More just naff than anything!
