A rotation would be useful, preferably in Noel's acoustic slot that seems inevitable - Talk TonightThe MasterplanHalf the World Away can all do stints. (I know many people would want all three, but that feels unlikely.)

We were lucky enough to get Half the World Away and The Masterplan at the 2009 shows. I had to wait for High Flying Birds for Talk Tonight

On the incredibly rare chance anyone comes across anything, I'm after 1 ticket for the below. Probably (rightly or wrongly) willing to hold out for standing, for now

Chicago

New York (either night)

Ticketmaster are yet to open the US resale and are doing a good job on avoiding questions on it. Odd one popped up on Twickets

Tickets for UK gigs now down to around £300 on ticketmaster. They're slowly creeping down in price.

There are actually quite a lot of them. I honestly think that once these become available for transfer there'll be an absolute mountain of them available, as with every other big gig. Pretty confident I'll get Wembley if I want it

So all this talk has got me thinking. If you've asked me at any point over the past few years, what would be the scorched earth/money no object/i HAVE to be there gig, it'd be night 1 of the Oasis tour in Cardiff.

If anyone else has the same thoughts about accommodation and are willing to pay the cost of what a hotel in Cardiff that night would be, but actually want one close to the stadium that is a reputable brand, I'd be checking the Premier Inn site about now..

In two minds whether to opt in or not now, especially if you're stuck in the front section for the gigs.

Surely even with 20k people in front of you it's only going to be like being about a fifth or so of the way back for a fully packed Pyramid gig?

But you should be able to leave front standing to go to the loo and such.

They might be able to build facilities inside the pit, been in a front pit like that.

Again that thing about not being able to access general out should have been communicated more clearly when the emails went out, think there'll be angry bigger groups of people.

Still wondering if this might just lead to a situation where people will storm the second barrier, as there's likely to be a fair amount of drunk and frustrated folks

I think this is to stop that, as it would've happened anyway. My guess is a bigger front pit than normal with bars and toilets, and a HUGE barrier with a massive gap and multiple lines of security.

They know what'll happen in Manchester, it'll be horrible and feral. As much as I'll hate being at the back, I'm glad they're doing it for safety reasons.

Seconded, says a lot that the 50 minute walk is advertised as one of the best ways to get back into town after. It’s taken something special to get me to go back to Heaton Park since 2015 and this is it.

I'm just thinking if enough people want to jump the barrier they will be able to do so. I was by the sound desk at The Courteeners (during DMA's) when hundreds did jump the barrier. It was nowhere as barricaded as I'm sure it'll be for Oasis but the security was utterly hapless when people started coming through.

An image of a father with a young son on his shoulders just... jumping and legging it, is forever burned into my retinas.

Yeah I'm thinking it'll be WAY bigger this time, multiple lines of security. The way they mentioned the health and safety in the email shows that they know what to expect, though whether security will be good enough to stop it I don't know.

Calling it now, night 1 in Manchester will have to be suspended during the first song for a few minutes to calm the crowd down.
