Reckon they'll skip Some Might Say

They’ve not played it since 2002, so it’s one of the ones i’m hoping they definitely do play. Liam played it on tour so there’s hope.

It's either going to be full-throated on the first two records and The Masterplan, with about three or four tracks beyond that era, or they will spread the love a little more. If it's the former, reckon they might, but have a hunch they could lean harder across the whole catalogue.

Was chatting about this with someone at the weekend. What songs post-masterplan would they realistically play? Songbird is usually a staple. Little by Little though Noel’s been playing that one a lot. Stand By Me seems to have had a resurgence over the last few years. Lyla? Importance of Being Idle? Go Let it Out at a stretch. Can’t see Dig Out Your Soul getting a look in.

It’s the Morning Glory anniversary so expecting quite a few from that album.

I think you nailed it there.

I haven't for a few years now, only times I do see a full pitch without one is when there's a ramp that naturally splits the crowd anyway, like Coldplay.

Liam Gallagher had one for the Etihad, and that wasn't remotely crazy. You'd expect they know it's needed to avoid crushing for these Oasis ones

Depends on the show I guess. Most shows I've seen have had barriers but I've attended a few that don't - Muse shows in 2010 and 2013 being the two examples that come to my mind, although even then there were barriers at their 2023 outdoor show I caught.

Everyone of those, apart from Stand By Me is shite. Go Let it Out at a stretch.

Anyone seen the most recent Oasis post on Instagram - A definitive Adidas collab, with a strong emphasis on Football !

Could it still happen..?

Still can see that their first outing will be on stage at Cardiff

Shock of the Lightning is one of their best since Morning Glory.  Would love it to be included on the setlist.

I really like Dig Out Your Soul, particularly the run of songs up to Falling Down. I’d just be surprised if they played anything off it. Falling Down would be my pick, however unlikely that is.
