Frank Turner will be rammed. I’ve heard good things about The Royston Club and Joei Supernova is a superb DJ

Watched Frank Turner there in 2019 and they shut the stage down and had people climbing over fences, felt very old school.

Saw Frank T there one year but it wasn't 2019, maybe 2015?  It was a "secret" set and pissing down/slippery as f**k getting there, which is probably why it wasn't that busy.

Really like Lizzie Esau! Unfortunately Sunday afternoon is already looking potentially clash heavy. Ideally want to see the likely NewDad, Blondshell, Alvvays run in Woodsies into Avril Lavigne on Other so I'd need her (Lizzie Esau) to be on pretty early. Nice problems to have though, Sunday will be a great day.

But it wasn't rammo inside. Quite spacey tbh, as long as you got in early.

Will have a good look at this lineup later 😁

not yet seen anyone play there .....

You really ought to!  Like others have said, it's lovely and chilled.  It's my Thursday early evening go to, sitting on sofas, drinking, chatting to randoms.  Before you know it 4 hours have passed.

And yeah I was at Frank Turner in 2019 and got there for at least the act before (if not the one before that) and I was so glad I did.  Will probably do the same again this year.

Am I missing a thread or something that says which day people are playing?

Discovered Strummerville on the last day, was gutted as it was so chilled and cool.

Needed to read this! Going to make sure I get my arse over there.

I'm going off clashfinder but I think there's a thread somewhere, and people were generally just piecing things together because the order on the main poster was (roughly) Fri, Sat, Sun, Fri, Sat, Sun, etc. Or so I thought anyway. I could be very wrong.

I love Frank, but can't imagine I'm going to want to subject myself to that headache. Thursday is just asking for trouble.

It really isn't a problem - just get up there for the beginning of the act before and you'll be fine.  It's a nice area to sit around in.  And everyone will go after he finishes and you'll be able to enjoy the area.

I'll just watch him other times - it's not like he's difficult to catch. I've got a ticket for his own show when he's here (with the band) a few weeks later, and depending on clashes will probably go to Avalon as well. Feels like an easier option.

This. In 2019, we just chilled, watched the act before and it felt absolutely fine around us. The biggest problem was the bonfire smoke wafting into our face lol

I think he did 5 shows last time so there'll probably be other smaller ones over the weekend too. Having him as one I want to see is pretty helpful while volunteering as surely one of them will cross over with a time I'm free!
