They are astonishing and one of probably only two must-sees for me so far from the poster. Ben They are high on my list. In fact Irish music definitely having a big moment and being Irish I'm here for it! NewDad and The Mary Wallopers are on the shortlist as well.

Ah fair enough then, I did think it seemed a bit out of character 😊 I think in this economic climate https://www.nme.com/news/music/21-uk-festivals-have-now-been-cancelled-postponed-or-scrapped-with-100-at-permanent-risk-without-action-3600756 And having had to replenish their reserves https://www.billboard.com/pro/glastonbury-festival-2019-financial-loss-covid-19/ It's an incredible achievement that they've not pulled back from their charity commitments https://www.nme.com/news/music/glastonbury-donated-record-breaking-3-7m-to-good-causes-in-2023-3559447 We know that there would be further outcry if they increased ticket prices to provide greater budget for acts who aren't prepared to compromise on their fee, so as I see it they're dancing on the head of a pin. I think with all that in mind, they've done a great job getting a nigh on gender split and a decent spread of acts, even at this comparatively early stage.

Feels like, much like Holts of recent years, the unique identity is slipping in favour of it just being another stage at the festival. Small quibble mind - hope to spend a fair bit of time there. Barry Can’t Swim seems destined to be the ‘why the f**k are they playing that stage so early with little competition’ act of the festival. Will be heaving. Agree with this. PG and FBS should be nowhere near the Park

Only 1 act I might see at the pyramid this year and that's LCD, but probably won't as they clash with Heilung on West Holts. Pyramid is terrible for me personally this year, but every other stage is superb so far.

Hmm not sure I'd agree about Friday, but it's still objectively speaking a very weak set of Other headliners in respect to recent years isn't it? Admittedly we've generally been spoilt with acts who are big enough to headline most festivals 2023: Wizkid - Lana Del Rey - Queens of the Stone Age 2022: Foals - Megan Thee Stallion - Pet Shop Boys 2019: Tame Impala - The Chemical Brothers - Christine and the Queens
uscore
unintentionally I saw Aurora 4 time in quick succession, at various festivals and a gig at Bristol. The first time I was really impressed by her heartfelt appreciation of the audience. As the weeks went on I grew tired of her using exactly the same lines of appreciation, at exactly the same points during the setlist. At first you find it quite sweet, but as it goes on it starts to feel like the "oh my, i'm so humbled" spiel is a bit too affected and a bit too deliberate. Avalon_Fields
Lankum an absolute must for me, not far behind Mdou Moctar, Dexys (Unless I see them at Bearded Theory), Aurora, Otoboke Beaver for the fun of it, Arooj Aftab, with others to come I’m spoilt for choice. Only thing standing in my way is wet weather, it’s a long slog from where I’ll be camping.

CharlotteB
The lineup looks ok, but I haven't got any must-sees on the list. The Park is one of those places that seems to have suffered the most with overcrowding in recent years too. I might avoid it this year. Talcroft
The Park poster isn't out yet is it, I've not missed it? Nope full thing isn’t out yet, just what we got on the original poster + a couple of other names we’ve heard of (Lynks and Moonchild Sanelly).
