If Justice could headline West Holts with their production, then so can NIN.

Well it barely fit the stage. And in 2017 they had to make WH bigger to even fit their production at that time which wasnt as big as this one. Maybe they should just put them on Other like they shouldve been this whole time. You would never imagine the Chems on WH would you?

The reason they stopped having big productions was because of the cost. Much better to have a reasonably priced ticket and just use some strobes and fog. But it will be interesting to see what they got up their sleeve by going bak to large venues again.

What makes you think they are aiming large venues again?

Justice headlining West Holts was the best booking and the ultimate vibe.  Both times.

No reason to suggest they should have been on Other Stage, which is, let's be honest, a bit soulless sometimes.

also, Paramore is likely out. Hayley seems to be looking at a solo tour finally.

We sure there's a possibility of both solo shows and Paramore shows? I know it's a fair bit of workload to prepare for both, but wouldn't be the first time an artist has simultaneously toured two projects at the same time, plus the band themselves did an interview after the Eras Tour saying new Paramore material was being worked on so this would be quite the shift indeed.

The Other Stage is a funny one. Everyone says it's soulless. Hell, I've said it's soulless. Said things like 'I wish X wasn't playing the Other Stage, it'd be better if they were on...'

And yet, I've seen some incredible stuff on there, some of my absolute favourite gigs have been on there.

I doubt it. Its all on Hayley since she is essentially Paramore lol. Well their new record deal wont reflect that finally but thats how it was. If she wants to do her thing, then that all thats happening. Theyll finish whatever theyre doing as a band when its time. As much as they couldve been writing new songs they have their own timeline.

The Streets proved that it is anything but soulless.

You just have to be…. Good.

We’ve always tried to get as close as possible to the front of the other stage. Further back and it does get souless., folk passing through, food outlets, groups of folk chatting etc are distractions, much worse than all the other main stages.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
