I struggle to understand why, once the bills are paid and the bank is full,

you wouldn’t want 100k fans in the pyramid field singing your hits back to you. I’d do it for free (if I was her)

She has 65-70k every single night doing that. Not sure an extra 30k and a few million on TV will honestly do much for her now at this stage. She's already the number 1 in demand artist on the planet.

Her gig tickets aren't cheap either are they? This is very much how it works in the music industry. Time = money.

Better than this year by a mile.

If we're comparing as a whole two lines yes. You can't really beat getting an artist that can sell 10 Wembley Stadiums out though, is say that's probably the biggest booking except for Taylor Swift the festival can make.

Sub wise Glas this year was bad at it gets and even with Cave, Paramore and Charli would be better. I would Dua Lipa, Coldplay and Olivia would be my mix of the top line there quite comfortably.

Booking Charli is a great idea, but has to be as a headliner, whether it’s Pyramid, Other or WH

I expect she will be booked this year, but she's played frequently over the years in non headline spots.

Also way too big now for WH and still too small for the Pyramid.

Kind of interesting that they've gone with a rock looking photo.

Tbf I did see it noted that Good 4 U was the nearest to a rock song to be number one in the UK since the RATM Christmas run in 2009.

So, you know, for those of us that like rock music, take what you can get cos it's all that you can find.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
