CaledonianGonzo
Sadly, no. She's been cancelled after blacking up on the sleeve of Don Juan's Reckless Daughter.

Exactly this. That type of “show” is perfect for “an audience with” type tv special or a long run in Vegas. His “ you over there sir, where you from “ would go down like a wet fart in front of the pyramid. Pity as his tunes could carry it but he can’t help himself. She doesn’t like big crowds & is a massive control freak down to the tiniest detail. Neither of those things lend themselves well to Glastonbury. If she watched Elton the size of that crowd probably gave her anxiety rather than a burning desire to play live again. Seeing her in 2014 is still one of, if not the, best gigs I’ve ever been to. But that show would not have worked at a festival.
CaledonianGonzo
Agreed. No way she does it. (I also went to Hammersmith). Just throwing a bone to the "It's still good" lads.

Drinky
Well then… Would they drop the big demands to do one big Pyramid show? Does this put them more in the frame for 2025 than next year?

Much like Fleetwood Mac, they’re all about the money and ultimately that’s what is always gonna prevent them from playing the festival, and I really doubt they care about ticking it off or anything like that. Oh he’s a proper bellend. The bellends bellend. So much of a bellend we almost need a new word for other vellends because he’s redefined the concept of bellendery. I wouldn’t be anywhere near. But he’s be a perfect Legend slot and is publicly well up for doing it.
goldfishboy
the legends slot should be for someone widely loved and respected, not a knobhead with a few hits in the 90s
