wairey
I had a run on Saturday of Maggie Rogers, Lizzo and Rina Sawayama that just kept getting better and better. Big shout out to Flo as well who blew me away
Primalcrux
These top 3's are always insanely difficult to make, but here goes nothing: 1. Foo Fighters: The Foos in an afternoon slot with an hour full of bangers, what's not to love? 2. Freya Ridings: Incredible voice and atmosphere! 3. Elton John: We got a pretty bad spot in terms of sound (I think we were in the part of the field that is normally camping ground), but the overall atmosphere of being there with that many people, listening to all these great songs, felt like a once in a lifetime experience! Pr0paneNightm4re
Black Country New Road (unbelievable, turbine/pigs received a 3 minute long applause) Caroline Polacheck (Great fun and ended up on TV) Los Bitchos (Most fun of the weekend and perfect stage/weather/atmosphere)
Pipine
Top 3 - 1. Phoenix - first time I’d seen them and they were bloody amazing, they had a small crowd of totally adoring fans and absolutely went for it. 2. Warpaint - Also the first time I’d seen them, so great to hear some of my favourite songs played live. 3. Close call between Rick Astley / Alison Goldfrapp / Foo Fighters who were all excellent
Dan R
No particular order but top three for me were: ADG7 - stumbled across them early on Friday playing apparently traditional Korean music, and were an absolute blast. Recommend watching they're set back on iPlayer. CMAT - One of our must sees and she nailed it. Such a great performer and got the crowd involved so well. Lizzo - just love her energy, her voice, and her tunes. Pure feel good from start to finish. Also loved Foos and Elton but the crowds were a bit too big for me. Was also loving Lana until she got cut off.
CR77
1 - Guns n' Roses 2 - Sparks 3 - Rick Astley & Blossoms Honourable mentions to Elvana, Neville Staple, Generation Sex and Thrill Collins! Elton great too. And best single moment was the standing ovation for Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe at the Leftfield debate on Friday. 🙂

king_oxymoron
Loads of people on page one saying Chvrches as a TV watcher. I enjoyed myself but I wonder what it was that made it look so special on tv! for me it was 01. Elton 02. Carly Rae Jepsen 03. Rina Sawayama
stanh
1.) Elton John 2.) Lizzo 3.) Fred Again.. The Murder Capital and Rick Astley are also pretty high up there for me, as well as Skepta b2b Jammer on Arcadia and Ki/Ki on The Levels. Nduja
Not the most judicious ratings but have only been to a couple of low key events since the pandemic thanks to the bambino.Friday James Acaster & Nish Kumar (Cabaret) - 7.5 Texas - 8 Foo Fighters - 8 Fred Again - 9.5 Dennis Ferrer - 8.5 (Only 20 mins or so but what a 20 mins) Arctic Monkeys - 10 Daphni & Floating Points (Arcadia) - 6.5 (wasn't quite in the headspace for this) The Blessed Madonna (Nowhere) - 7 (would have probably gone higher but it was rammed and was basically more in the thoroughfare than the stage) Sat Sudan Archives - 8 Couple of pretty poor Circus acts - 5 Aitch - 7 Maggie Rogers - 7.5 Lizzo - 10 Earl Sweatshirt - 6 Central Cee - 8.5 Loyle Carner - 9 Nia Archives Up Ya Archives (Levels) - 9.5 Daniel Avery - 8 Sun High Society (Circus Big Top) - 8 Johnny Awsum (Cabaret) - 7 Fatboy Slim (Greenpeace) - 8 Blondie - 8 The War on Drugs - 9.5 Rudimental - 9 Think this means a top 3 of - Arctic Monkeys - Lizzo - The War on Drugs Edited June 29, 2023 by Nduja

Justcalledtosay
1. Elton John 2. Fred Again.. 3. The Hives/Lana Del Rey I know there are various considerations to take in to account, but i struggle to see how anyone couldn't rate Elton as the best of the weekend if you were in that field. That's the beuaty of music i suppose. Edited June 29, 2023 by Justcalledtosay
Peter_Quaife
1. The Viagra Boys - what an our of blistering fun that was. Sports and Research Chemicals to finish was off the charts, they were having a great time too. 2. The War on Drugs - an exceptional band delivering an amazing set 3. Queens of the Stone Age - rock and roll. ~ Special mention for The Lathums - will be headlining the Other Stage in a year or two Not a huge Foo Fighters fan, but that evening set was a very special moment + the Manics straight into Motorcycle Emptiness was some treat. WhatADin
Argh this is hard. 1. Lana - All the drama aside, I've wanted to see her for years and her singing Born To Die moved me to full-on ugly snot tears. I was solo as well with my husband watching Loyle Carner and the crowd were so friendly and lovely. 2. Kid Kapichi - Been a fan since i stumbled across them on Spotify and my god what a show. They had the crowd in the palm of their hand, it was probably one of the most intensely amazing gigs I've ever been too. They are going to go really far I reckon. 3. Argh, too hard. Toss up between Nova Twins and The Lathums and The Hives. I'm so glad I got to see Elton and The Foos, saw the Artics and didn't get super into it, but it was good craic. I read a lot about Alt-J, QOTSA and Phoenix, but did not hear anything about Rudimental! Figured since they are popping up at Glastonbury quite often, they would have a very hard time against those other great bands, but could be wrong! Back to the mixing desk, about the width of the stage, and not very dense. Swelled a bit as some folks (sensibly) decided to escape Elton. Which other "great bands"?
