Great night, and almost certainly somewhere in my Top 10. This was f**king incredible. My first Glasto too. What a set.

Skip997
Nice to see this reemerge Having had a look back at mine, there may be some changes/additions but it's pretty much there. Interesting, but not surprising, that 70% of my choices were on West Holts. Edited November 9, 2023 by Skip997

NorthernSoul52
Only sets I was physically in attendance for, right? In alphabetical order: Adele (Pyramid Stage, 2016) Coldplay (Pyramid Stage, 2016) Margo Price (Park Stage, 2017) Radiohead (Pyramid Stage, 2017) Run the Jewels (Pyramid Stage, 2017) St. Paul and the Broken Bones (Other Stage, 2016) The 1975 (Other Stage, 2016) The National (Pyramid Stage, 2017) The xx (Pyramid Stage, 2017) Thundercat (West Holts Stage, 2017) A special mention to Barry Gibb and Biffy Clyro, with the former just a delight and the latter - even on subpar form - still very much the equal of Ed Sheeran afterwards. (Seen Sheeran a few times, and his Glastonbury headline set remains the softest of the bunch.)

I'd swap in Coldplay in 2011 instead (really showed U2 how to headline that stage...the projections on the pyramid were brilliant, at the time I couldn't believe that nobody thought of using the stage like that before!, though looking at how it was achieved, I can see why). The Scream in '05 was unreal. Could swap that in for the Rutles if forced. But the Rutles>Paul in '04 was just perfect. Good to hear Bright Eyes was off his rocker. Everyone was in '05. Hugely underrated year. 😄

stuartbert two hats
In no particular order, mainly because it's been the 21st century for such a long time, I can't remember Radiohead 2017 The xx 2017 Kae Tempest 2017 Battles 2008 John Grant 2016 Underworld 2016 Elbow 2014 * Gorillaz 2010 Chas'n'Dave 2005 (I sh*t you not) Confidence Man 2022 * Yes I know that it was essentially a carbon copy of the superior set they played in 2011, but I wasn't there. I'm sure I've forgotten loads that are better than some of these, but this is what springs to mind.
