Timing seems to fit for The Prodigy to play here? No London dates yet as far as I knowimage.thumb.png.25279f74a766f599cea77b4c377eaddf.png

In theory, yes, but I suspect that this gig only being a few tube stops east in Upminster and on the same weekend as one of the APE days is a mark against. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a thing about this being an exclusive show for the London area.

lots of people moaning about lorde on in the boardmasters replies but she's always out on a great show when i've seen her!!

not the biggest headliner i guess and a lot of people would have liked a dance act / rapper as generally its 2 rock and 1 dance/rap there

Gunnersbury Park

Tbf this does make a lot more sense. Love Boygenius (and their solo stuff) but they're nowhere near big enough to sell out Victoria Park.

When they first toured the US they did a solo set each before coming on. Would be great to see that replicated for a Gunnersbury Park day (though I assume unlikely)

Any idea of the date range for this?

Not 100% certain but usually it hosts stuff mid-late august

There's currently Waterworks, Joji, Kygo and N Dubz there

Cheers for all the info. I've got to try and plan some fieldwork for my PhD so having a rough idea of dates is helpful to try and avoid the clash.

    • Solid list...  but i must ask?  are you excluding Lime Garden & Tomora as you didn't like them or is it that you havent listened to them?
    • It was Brooklyn last year, and I seem to remember a Guinness tent
    • That leaker off Instagram was saying earlier this year that Nickelback are doing a tour with Broco and Wargasm, but no evidence as yet
    • Gojira are unoficially confirmed by the organisation at Hellfest since last December already.   Slayer was supposed to be this year as a Mainstage 2 headliner at the place of Volbeat for a thrash day but negotiations fell off. Very likely to be there next year.    MCR I didn't know about but it fits well with Hellfest's desire to keep one day as more punk/rock orientated.    Europe are a confirmed headliner for Sweden Rock 2027. They will not headline HF but we may seem them on the bill. I am very curious who will be the legacy bands next year at HF. There was some backlash after 2025 and a bit of a return to heavier metal on the bill in 2026 - e.g. Gatekeeper on the main stage. The only considerable legacy acts I see coming (if they are in Europe) and haven't been at HF for a while are Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Slash, FFDP (if you count them as legacy), ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I really hope they manage to pull sth big for the 20th anniversary like AC/DC.
