  1. I wouldn't pay full price for a ticket, but think people are underestimating how well this will do - Kaytranada extremely popular amongst the 20 something east-Londoners who generally make up most of APE's crowd (saying that as a 20 something east-Londoner)
  2. I'd love Wolf Alice, and they will be around the circuit next year after seemingly taking this year off - but they're a considerable step smaller than all the headliners for this year's APE, even Jungle.
  3. Subbing for Wide Awake, so I'd doubt it!
  4. Does anyone understand how this Ladbrokes system works? I signed up using a referral code and then someone signed up using mine and somehow none of us have any plays at all?

    2024 Headliners

Madonna is still far too iffy for me, but agree she could easily replace OROD on that final lineup with OROD doing a WH headline slot

Equally OROD may do something funky like a BST day, so who knows. All posture as we all are doing

    2024 Headliners

FWIW as a big 1975 I think they are completely nailed on for Glasto 2024, heard many rumours about the last two years (being back ups and being f**ked over by Eavis' for other acts) and it's a now or never moment for them. Dua and OROD for my other two guesses, OROD being a UK festival exclusive (won't be pitched as such as glasto never do)
  8. Don't want to be a scab, but if anyone has any cheap tickets for Jamie T tonight give me a shout
  9. Model/Actriz killed it in London tonight. Make sure you see them if you’re going on Saturday!!
  10. If anyone's travelling to London for Wide Awake on the Friday, Brockwell Park is hosting Project 6 festival the day before, and free tickets are going around for that if you know where to look. Banging day of dance music for free if you're at a loose end.
  11. Welp, can safely say I’m not gonna go this year now then
  12. This is my exact issue with the festival! Doesn’t have the teeth to justify the cost or the vibe anymore. anyone remember when it used to be at the dockyards?? edit: just read the last post, sorry!
  13. He also said at gorilla that they had another U.K. tour scheduled for 2023 if I remember right, I didn’t go but remember seeing it on tiktok. But matty does talk a lot of shit so wouldn’t be surprised if he meant the summer festival circuit
  14. Brill - exactly what I wanted to hear. Just obsessed with this is hardcore atm and don’t want to miss a chance to see them!
  15. Lorde makes perfect sense for this to me, really wouldn't be surprised to see her here. Not one that interests me, but I'd go for cheap tickets.
  16. They've said that they'll tour again this year, but I reckon (and rumours suggest) it will be a S/T 10 year anniversary tour, similar to what they did at Gorillas. I'd probably miss that to be honest, but could see that being it.
  17. What do people think about Pulp tickets being available on resale closer to the time? Missed out on them and now quite keen to go. Don't want to pay more than face value though, as £80 ish is the top end of what I'd pay tbh...
  18. Also, they'd defo open with The 1975 (BFIAFL Version)
  19. I'd love it if it was this setlist tbh - after seeing the arena tour would be great if it was just a proper festival set! The fact it's stil being advertised as "At their very best in show + in concert" says to me it'll be the same set up - the show being the BFIAFL set with Matty eating the meat et al, and the concert being the greatest hits set. Guess time will tell!
  20. From start to finish at the O2, which admittedly included Taylor Swift playing two songs in the middle, they went on at 8:30 and we were outside the O2 at 11pm after leaving during the last song, so was just under 2.5 hours - would be really really shocked if they didn't play for 2+ hours.
  21. Tbf to The 1975, they've always maintained lower ticket prices - we paid less for Finsbury Park tickets than we did for their O2 headline show in January, by about £10. It's something Matty's spoken about endlessly, and good to see them sticking to. If it is a 9:30pm curfew, I'd imagine they'll be on at 7pm. Get the BFIAFL done during the light hours, then the hits during the dark - I'd imagine they'll have some extra surprises/set list etc compared to the arena show, so would imagine them wanting 2.5 hours, again slightly longer than the set at the O2.
  22. Most likely just got asked to play Reading & Leeds so canned Victorious off I reckon, tin foil hat says maybe an early sign The 1975/Dirty Hit are doing something that weekend at All Points East...
  23. Email this morning with the subject "The story so far" summarising what's been announced to date, defo more dates coming for APE.
  24. Just 3 days? That would be riduclous, surely the cost of infrastructure, staff etc makes that just not worth it as an investment from a financial perspective? Strokes day looks appealing but have frankly 0 interest in Stormzy and only a passing interest in 3/4 on the Field Day lineup, so might not even go this year. Shame as it has been one of my favourite festivals over the past few years with their lienups.
