Well, the big reason I would think is that a Glasto ticket would likely be cheaper than whatever golden circle/VIP ticket you'd need to secure front row seats at Taylor's own show. For the die hard Swifties, £250/£300 to turn up for the day at Glastonbury, camp at the front row and be front and centre for the gig may well be worth it after looking at those Bruce tickets...

I highly doubt anyone is doing the following:

1) seeing T swift is doing UK dates with a glasto gap

2)thinking oh she must be playing glasto

3) opting to try for a small chance at those tix when they don't know shes playing instead of just paying to see her at BST or whatever

Makes no sense to me.

It would be fantastic if 10's of 1000's of Swifties got tickets, turned up on whatever day she played and then left. Would leave more room for me.

By the way is she really that popular?

She’s one of the biggest acts of the last 15 years, yeah.

The album is only going to be available on vinyl through her official store. Seems a bit off, a lot of record shops get a boost when a big release comes out. She's done some RSD stuff in the past, I wonder if she is aware or it's just a record company thing?

Wonder if that is just the blue vinyl one. She often does a limited run on pre order then after releases other versions

You're telling me that Taylor Swift tickets could be in the £250 to £300 bracket.

There's no band/artist that I'd even consider paying that amount to see.

If you read the whole post (I presume you're willingly ignoring it) you'd see he meant £250-£300 for Golden Circle/VIP tickets to guarantee a good spot for her.

Regular tickets obviously won't cost near that much.

What ever happened to people just turning up and if lucky/determined getting a prime spot?

Could be a supply chain thing. Its a miracle the vinyl will be availble for release date. Records easily been done for at least 3 months cause even with getting priority to press records cause the majors pay a ton to cut the line you still gotta be 6 months ahead of schedule to make sure its ready.

Clearly you havent seen what will happen to tickets in north america whenever they go onsale and theyll easily eclipse that number for nosebleeds. Vip will easily be 5 - 10 times that number.

Ticket prices are insane in America though, nothing like what we pay here thankfully as things are getting bad enough

Well no mate because I don’t live in North America, don’t go to gigs in North America and frankly, with the amount you wang on about it, I couldn’t care less about what goes on in North America.

How do you manage to make everything about America? It's quite remarkable and comical.

I think it will be an early 00s or mid 90s indie album. Maybe a 80s synth inspired album.  Easing us in to full tay rock era for TS11.

im loving the old Hollywood glamour feel to her look.

I can’t wait. Tried to book it off work but someone had already booked it off first.

Countries where women still have the right to choose?

Countries where Ex-presidents don’t take official secrets home for their own purposes?

Before you list our countries failings we are not claiming we are the centre of the universe
