This fella may be onto something. Maybe because he's selling (probably dodgy) hospitality tickets, he's in the know.

Good to see Pixies getting two slots and One Direction reforming.

Death Grips? At Glastonbury? When there's no evidence of them doing anything next year?

Tbh this would be nice. I’d take it. Although some of the days where the entire other stage is female acts doesn’t look that likely.

These headliner clashes each day would be traumatically unfair.

None of them are entirely women?

He is not a serious act

1. thats your opinion, plenty of people would take him seriously (not fussed myself to be honest, would never see him)

2. does that even matter? non 'serious' acts have been booked before

This is very true and plenty of them.

Yeah the festival is absolutely not opposed to an unserious act - in 2022 we had Kurupt FM on Arcadia and (no offence to those who celebrate…) Sleaford Mods on West Holts.

And that’s not even what KSI is anymore (even if he’s shite) - he’s a big act with Gen Z in the UK with two back to back UK number 1 albums and 7 UK top 10 singles.

KSI has big songs with reputable artists too - kurupt fm certainly cannot say they have that

The most serious act about at the moment.

    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
