I had tickets to see him in Belgium supported by the Killers, Crowded House, Kaiser Chiefs and Sinead o Connor before it got cancelled due to the Rona. Would have been such a great gig.

Oh no. That’s a killer. At least we can enjoy some great coverage

Seems to be playing same set he played yesterday in Frome, (available online if you want to know what's coming up)

Cheers! Think I'll leave it for a surprise. I'm not too arsed, mainly watching out of curiosity but was expecting a Beatles heavy set.

Looks to get a lot better to towards the end.

What was that about in the crowd?

Looked to be either a fight or someone having a medical episode to me. Maybe someone passed out waiting for him to finish his Hendrix anecdote

Lol I  just put it on

Wife not keen... I think it's good 👍

Jokes about scantily clad women aside, there's something to be said about energy in a performance.

It's not Paul's fault he's 80, but he could at least start with a couple of bangers to spark some fun for the audience...

No but he did do a Sinatra cover album that I paid £85 for the privilege of watching him play instead of the classics 😬

To be fair if you go to see Bob Dylan you know your not getting the classic. Probably why he's never headlined Glasto recently (can't be bothered to check if he did it back in the day)

I could have stomached it if they were at least Sinatra classics but they weren’t either 😆

    • Maybe you need a groovy mayor who can get you the money.   Anyway, looks like mayors going to get a whole load of fiscal devolution and greater powers...so best everyone gets one, a decent one, and get a load of Madchesterism.

    • Another great weekend with family and friends.  We spend most of our time between Obelisk, and second stage due to having young children.  Overpass, Florence Road, Nathan Evans, David Byrne and Alex James were the highlights for me.  Quite enjoyed a dance to Gok Wan on the Saturday too.   Certainly feeling the Latitude blues this week and looking forward to next year.   Also looking forward to all the predictions for next year in the 2027 chat.   Hope everyone had a great festival.
    • How much is Burnham's success down to Manchester getting a shitton of investment for public transport infrastructure?   There's no doubt he did the work, but the money dumped into Manchester for him to achieve that was huge - the most of any infrastructure project outside London ever. Did that need a mayor, or just the money?
