If you’re at Gate B, I will legit meet you and EPO your Taytos in for the price of one bag of Taytos

(nb- this offer is not available for nordie Taytos, proper Taytos only)

Never come between a NI and his Taytos. We’ve got them in west Scotland now

Just gone through a search at Gate A and they’re taking packets of crisps off people as apparently they’re not allowed for some reason, so if you’ve got your stuff hidden in crisp packets and sealed back up… maybe rethink that.

How stupid and weak would you have to be to let a jumped up pol pot security pig take crisps off you?

Just tell them to fuck off like any other person would.

Can someone be a little more straightforward than talking about crisps.

I assume there are no dogs.

Are they patting everyone down?

Searching pockets?

Making you empty your pockets?

Searching bags?

Thanks.

Gate d so busy odd voluntary searches and they pat your bag to make sure it got bag things in. And open carriers briefly

Gate A can fuck itself, alongside the bell end steward who pulled us out of the queue for D, telling us A was better and smoother. 3 hours later, stuck in A, and my mates at D who were behind me are sat at their tents.

Similar sentiment here. This Gate A queue is a joke. It is only going to get hotter as well

Are both sides of PGA moving slowly? I.e. the coach/shuttle AND the drivers?

My security search consisted of someone asking me if I had any glass on me. I said no, and she patted down my sleeping bag. Ignored the big rucksack which was more likely to be full of glass, and patted down my sleeping bag 😂

Just got in from gate A about 10 minutes ago. Starting queuing about 8ish. Was moving really quick, going through one section every 5 minutes or so until we got to the last bit and it took about 45 minutes.

How was the bag searches?

Anyone know what’s happening at gate A?

My understanding is the problem with Gate A is that it takes the people from the coaches and drop off point, and they can't let that queue get too long because there's no room for it - it would end up in the area where the coaches turn round so it would quickly get very dangerous. As a result, the queue of people from the coaches always has priority over the standard queue from the car parks. We got stuck there in the pissing rain for several hours a few years ago.

It does calm down later on, but it's a shit show for the first few hours.

    • There’s a few in there which could go either way or I’m not bothered if I miss but think that’s now be pretty set.  Few rubbish clashes like Kasabian/Loyle plus Reytons/Pixies/CMAT but I’ll head with the lads to the most popular one.   (And yes no Byrne or Twigs, just can’t into either)
    • I saw somewhere they were advertising Lewis' day as him live on Glagow Green and only mentioned Amy Mcdonald and CMAT as support, 0 mention of the festival  I completely agree this will probably be the last one which is a shame because the first 2 seemed so promising and now its turned into middle of the road rubbish with acts you can see everywhere else  Anyone know if the BBC are covering it next week as it'll be fascinating to see how full (or empty) it is
    • Did anyone catch Viagra Boys last night? A rollicking good set, with a little more free jazz than I expected.   if you’re up early, Walabi is doing a super job in the Cupra Pulse. There till six.

    • They really dropped a bollock on their lineup this year. They went with Richard Ashcroft because he did well as Oasis support - But realistically, you're not getting 50k people in a field to hear the 4 or 5 songs they know at like £70+ a ticket. Can't get my head around the Kasabian booking, either. Finsbury Park was a bold move for them, and yes it sold out, but I think you're more likely to see people make the journey to London if they want to see them rather than Glasgow. A second similar capacity show was always going to be a big ask for them.
