Opted to bring the trainers as well as the walking boots. Psychologically putting on a pair of trainers Sat/Sun providing we’ve had reasonable weather could be a terrific boost to see you through.

One risk that still remains in the next two days is a VERY unlucky, localized hour or so of heavy rain while everyone is onsite creating conditions for mud. Friday late afternoon 2015 being the perfect example.

Yes, this.  With the GFS, for example, predicting showers breaking out across England on Thursday, it wouldn’t take much for one to pop up near the site…

Dry when gates open with temps of 19.

Still showing the possibility of some very, very, very light showers in the PM - but nothing of note whatsoever. Temps of 21.

Overnight temps into Thursday: 12-13 

THURSDAY

Completely dry, highs of 21-22.

The possible light rain is pushed further east in this run.

Overnight temps into Friday: 12-14

FRIDAY

Completely dry, highs of 18-21.

Overnight temps into Saturday: 16

SATURDAY

Completely dry, highs of 23.

Overnight temps into Sunday: 14-17

SUNDAY

DOWNGRADE KLAXON!

This run has that troublesome low pushing in early and causing small showers between 3pm and around 9pm.

Highs are right down on previous runs, just 21 now as the low pushes in earlier.

Temps through Elton now only 16.

Overnight temps into Monday: 13

SUMMARY!

It's back. It's the KNIFE EDGE.

We really, really need to keep an eye on Sunday, there is quite a bit of danger there yet and we are not really close to reliability.

The low has been getting stronger consistently for a while, we just need to high to push back again and hold us safe for a few more hours into Monday.
