We're almost locked now. Will the dirty little 06Z throw any spanner in the works?

TUESDAY

The GFS is showing the threat of rain this afternoon, but there appears to be nothing on the live radar. That means a full day of drying in good temps of 20-21.

WEDNESDAY

Dry when gates open with temps of 19.

Still showing the possibility of some very, very light showers in the PM - but again nothing of note. Temps of 21.

Overnight temps into Thursday: 13-14.

THURSDAY

In this run some light rain does skirt the site in the afternoon, but every chance there's no rain at all; highs of 22.

Overnight temps into Friday: 12-14.

FRIDAY

Completely dry, highs of 20-21.

Overnight temps into Saturday: 14-15.

Overnight temps into Sunday: 15-18.

SUNDAY

Completely dry again, but still with doubts over the low pushing in early, highs of 25-26.

Temps through Elton are still up at 20-21.

Overnight temps into Monday: 12-14.

SUMMARY!

Yet again a brilliant run with no rain of any note whatsoever. We've even tracked back up a degree on Friday.

There is still some doubt about what could happen on Sunday yet - that day is not in the bag.

Sunday is not within a reliable timeframe so we're not out of the woods for Elton.

Yep, been watching that low develop over the last few days and its making me nervous.

Fortunately other models/ensembles aren't showing rain on sunday (yet) so I'm cautiously optimistic that we will avoid it.

Thought I'd peep out of my lurking to say...

Excellent work, briddj. Have really appreciated all your efforts this year. Hope you have a great festival.

Also, this is way too bastard hot. Please can we have about 30% to 50% more cloud cover and some regular tasty breezes? Thank you, very much.

It's so hot here at the minute, honestly can't imagine dealing with another 5°c on top of this by the weekend

Hopefully Fuzzy can post a topic on best shade spots at the festival?

Above Tipi Village by the trees. Lovely views. Perfect for a nap.

All hail Briddj! Thanks for the updates, a gigantuan effort. Looking like perfect festival weather. The best one yet. Pack the suncream. Stay hydrated. The lightweight coat/poncho in case of a shower. Stick the wellies/boots in just in case.

That you, Michael?
