speaking which, Is it too late to change your picture for the tickets?

Yes - being able to change it would entirely defeat the purpose of having the picture.

I'm sure its already been posted in this thread but I was very excited to see that bus times will be sent out from the 22nd

Yeah my brother and his girlfriend got their coach tickets in resale so I'm as curious as they are to see what time they'll be given.

Did we ever find out last year if resale tickets are given the later coaches? Or if they're already provisionally "assigned" when the original tickets are bought and they'll basically have bought the time slot that whoever gave their tickets back had? If that makes any sense as towards the end of that last sentence I was aware it sounded like the ramblings of a madman.

In my experience resale coach tickets tend to be a later one if the departure point has multiple coaches.

Not Long to go now until we are all anxiously watching the % of tickets sent on the  see tickets live despatch tracker!

Noooo...why did you say this. Now have the live dispatch page permanently open

I'm still seeing Tickets will be sent by secure post. A signature may be required on delivery.

Possibly because I'm international though.

Mine says the same. Not international. Is it coach people seeing a 0%?

Reminds me I need to think of a new ticket "safe place" to keep our delivered tickets in, as we've moved house since I last went.

Does anyone else do this or are yours just sat on the bedside till the big  day arrives?

When I got last years, I put the envelope in a picture clip frame and hung it on my wall, so I knew where it was at all times 🙂

Hoping the coach tickets isn’t a fiasco like last year.. got tickets in the first sale this year though so hoping for an earlier coach than 12pm like last year..

I don’t like the sound of this! What happened last year?

This will be the first time I’m travelling by coach. Got a ticket for the Thursday in the re-sale. Any idea what times the coaches leave from Liverpool?

Coach tickets were just a lot later than expected getting delivered, and I think the coach times for Liverpool are 6am, 8am, 10 and 12 based on previous years. Maybe someone can confirm this? Wouldn’t worry though it’s normally a smooth process!

Don't suppose you've got any idea when they come out? First time getting coach tickets too in the resale for the Thursday (Manchester) but 12pm sounds way too late, can't imagine you'll be set up until like 7pm..

times available from  the 22nd .... not long now 🙂 and people can make firmer plans .... the evidence suggests that the resale tickets are put on the later buses from each departure point .

It makes sense, but I hope it's not a reality. Coach 12pm from Manchester would take so bloody long I would think

The positive will be that you sail straight in . With minimal festival traffic and no queuing at the gate .

That is very true, I shouldn't really be moaning as I'll be still in on the farm this year! It's just a bit of an unknown having always gone down Tuesday night/wednesday morning!

    • They are going to have Blink 182 for sure, early June upto around Werchter weekend I'd say for them. Two of Sweden Rock,  Greenfield and RFP are going to miss out.
    • I've come across a few this weekend saying Deftones aren't big enough for Download.   I would recommend b&b hotel hbf the night before....cheap, comfortable and very decent. Within 10 minutes from the station and a tram stop outside to jump on...all travel is free during the festival time as well with a kombi. Lidl is very good and cheap I can't lie....€6 for a chair with carey handle, €20 with a bag too...you can work that out yourself.   If you camp, get up at 5am and go to the queue....literally don't question it as now I know.     The travel wise part is easy when you get the hang of it and I've never had an easier exit from a festival today tbh. We were camped in the turn left section but past the registration and to get water you have to come right out.   Opening up an exit through he camp at least by Friday morning when everyobe is there would be much better but you csnt walk through general if you're green and sonon.   I think the issue for me probably too is I have never taken like a mutliple litre water too, I've always done a 6 pack water from like poundland lol but you definitely need it. I had one shower that was cold lol   Talking of getting into the front, Volbeat was the only easy one, for Maiden and especially Linkin Park if you weren't in the queue for it by at least the last quarter ot Architects you had no hope....it was shocking. I do like orbit to sit down. I had to decide to sack off Within Temptation too or no chance.   Second stage biggest gripe is the faff of walking all the way round when VIP or whatever it is literally get access to each bit. I did read tbh before going people though RIP/Ring was turning too much the wrong way.   Also as a side note, caught some of Limp Bizkit last night too and they are not headliner but any distance at all. Yes they pull a crowd...they would do with LP finished but on the grand scale its a super weak booking. Stop, start for video recordings all the way through a headline set?, 1hr 15 minutes and you can't play for that time. I'm so glad they were not chosen to headline main.   On another thing, if RIP played it right they'll get GC and Avril to sub/second stage headline on the Blink day.   Toilets and cleanliness is a big plus I will say that.
    • Any of the likes of Keo, Basht. and Cardinals could all fit in here.  Although they’re the sort of bands that could fit many of the stages at Glastonbury
    • Glasto loves a come back act - how about the Rapture?
    • Yeah mentioned in the park thread but feel more Woodsies to me
