Very 'Bam Margera-core".

Maybe so, but it’s fucking great nonetheless.

Clearly a big market for nostalgic rock/metal what with this and When We Were Young sending people across the internet wild. Shame we couldn’t have some kind of mid ground between Download and Slam Dunk or like an old Reading/Leeds like this these days as I’d be all over it.

So I’m thinking of taking my younger brother to this (15 turning 16) that’s never been to a festival…or a standing concert. He absolutely loves slipknot and bring me and if this leak is legit then it’s pretty stacked for me too. He can get pretty anxious and everything in crowds, and his eyesight isn’t amazing, but he said he’d absolutely love to go

Think it’ll be alright for him? Never been myself but far as I know this festival isn’t full of dickheads like reading is so…

It’s the perfect first festival for him if he’s into rock and metal. Genuinely lovely crowd and the biggest dick head I've ever seen is myself and I’m not that much of a dick really.

Echo the above, one of the friendliest festivals on earth. If he gets too anxious in a crowd it's pretty easy to get out of at the sides and you can still see fine, coming from someone who's also blind as a bat

4 days in a field will be a lot for someone's first standing concert but take it in moderation and it'll be the time of his life!

Did anyone else see the list for the Apex stage on the website they appeared for a minute or two then it buggered off. The names I saw were...

Fri - Kiss, A Day to Remember.

Sat - Iron Maiden

Sun - Biffy Clyro, Rise Against.

Ghost are headlining second and finishing before Slipknot according to one of the leakers on the DL forums.

Architects below BMTH and Parkway under Slipknot.

I’m expecting Alter Bridge to sub and think Nightwish would have but they’ve dropped out. I think BFMV will sadly get the call to fill in and sub.

Lamb of God definitely to come too and Halestorm self confirmed.

Praying for Turnstile.

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
    • I was fully prepared (waterproof jacket, extra pair of socks, foldable umbrella), but after four hours in the rain (from Geese through Oklou to Florence Road), it was just too much. Already at the hotel, let's hope tomorrow's better.
    • It’s rare that I watch question time, but I almost felt sorry for Kenyon, he seemed like a guy just brought off the street which effectively is what he was, made worse by the fact Burnham and the Tory guy were very strong debaters. I think Burnham was very aware not to go too hard on Kenyon and risk him getting sympathy, in fact he pretty much ignored him.
