Glad I got Glastonbury tickets that line up isn't doing an awful lot for me personally, really not interested in two night of Metallica, seen em so many times now.

Metallica doesn't do it for me either, but there's a load of other bands that I am keen on. Just cannot wait now!!

That lineup is stacked - very much might be making this my first Download.

I mean, I know in traditional Download fashion they’ll undoubtedly stick all the good stuff against each other at headliner time, but I think there’d still be enough to justify going.

Basing it on the band positions on the poster... There's bands that I feel are too big/small for their placement. Could we be getting a double main stage?

The logos are in alphabetical order. Alexis and Distillers aren’t subbing. They will include all stage headliners too.

did the same as @beetchez to have a clear visual of what it looks so far for me...

green = must (bands I love or have never seen)

orange = seen already and/or would not mind to see again

Go on then, for a laugh. Green = will be there if no other green currently on, orange = be there if no green. For the most part. Not gonna miss Metallica for Stray from the Path or whatever.

MAIN SUBS: Architects, Parkway Drive, Ghost 

MAIN 3rd: Disturbed, Within Temptation 

2nd HEADLINERS: Evanescence, The Distillers, Pendulum, Placebo

2nd SUBS: I Prevail, Alexisonfire 

 

AVALANCHE HEADLINERS: Simple Plan

DOGTOOTH HEADLINERS: Vile Valo

I just hope Ghost doesn't clash with BMTH since they'll pull much of the crowd away from BMTH. Then people will lump BMTH in the "Biffy" category because of the low turnout.

Forum leaker who spilled the beans on Placebo, Evanescence etc. has Ghost as 2nd heads. I reckon they'll only play against tents though.

Dunno why I'm not just saying Chinstrap, it's Chinstrap. Now we have 3 good leakers for 2024!

That BMTH is on their current merch too, I can’t see them doing a throwback set - especially for one of their biggest shows to date.

Over the moon, if true. Will be back at Download for the second time. Two sets from Metallica is unmissable, then there's the likes of Slipknot, Ghost, Touché Amoré... and you adding fucking Turnstile to this later down the line? Imagine.
