That's the point I don't think the opposition are making enough. Boris resigning is so urgent and so critical because he can't be trusted to deal with Russia/Ukraine and the cost of living crisis.

Cost of living is obviously a huge issue for many but does Putin really care about Johnson or the UK?

I think that Putin's interest in the UK extends as far as this country is a haven for Russian money. If anything that makes us more amenable to him...

Genuine question, may have been asked already but isn't it the job of the speaker to hold the PM to account to tell the truth?

Currently he's removing people for calling a liar a liar but allowing the liar to lie at will? Sound.

You are allowed to lie but not allowed to call out the person that’s lying.

Do any of the cabinet not want to stand up and either ask a question or back him ? ... or does that not happen in such circumstances

That doesn’t happen, Johnson is speaking on behalf of the government.

against the rules to call a liar a liar. Against the rules to lie too, but that's not been proven yet apparently.

Maybe not officially in relation to the parties etc but he's been a proven liar many times in the past, which he's also not been allowed to be called out on previously. It's such an archaic system.

LOL I wish the Speaker would shut people down with their word vomit sycophant rhetoric more often.

He only shuts down people calling out liars. That whole aspect is a farce.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
