I thought Starmer’s response was dignified and statesmanlike - and showed up Spaffer’s fake sincerity for what it was.

What did Brexit have to do with anything today? That’s all he has, isn’t it? Bringing that up and Tory Savile (surely another lie in the Commons) was a desperate attempt to appeal to the BorisBoys who love everything he says.

That speech by Starmer was incredible. The difference between them set out in stark difference. Starmer dragged Johnson over the coals with that speech.

Man I'm furious. He's not remotely apologetic. Look at his face while Starmer is talking.

I've tried to avoid taking this too personally but my mum died in hospital last summer and I wasn't allowed to visit because of Covid rules and honestly I'm fucking fuming.

I’m really sorry to hear this, I hope you are ok.

The Saville situ was that they looked into it at the time and no one was reporting anything.

I'm doing okay yeah, thanks. Really didn't want to make it about me, apologies. I did post about it quite a bit back then as well. It's just the fucking double standards that really grate.

Don’t apologise for that, we’d be here for you but understand where you are coming from. Best wishes to you and your family ❤️

The Tories are in a right state if they don’t act after this dumpster fire.

Surely they are plotting - Theresa and the head of the Covid Recovery Group both going for him (the latter asking him to answer Diane Abbot’s question) surely breaks through - even to people without backbones.

Bring up the Russia/Ukraine thing...that's what we need, a pissed party clown as PM during a time of crisis.

That's the point I don't think the opposition are making enough. Boris resigning is so urgent and so critical because he can't be trusted to deal with Russia/Ukraine and the cost of living crisis.

    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
