Is Trump allowed to run again in 2024?

I believe so, although for a morbidly obese guy in his seventies who had COVID it may be a push to think he’d still have the stamina to do so by then. It just takes a look at some of his 2016 campaign videos and his recent ones for comparison to see that he’s already deteriorated quite a bit. I know Biden is currently the age Trump would be in ‘24, but he’s also in much better health overall, despite Trump’s dementia claims.

yeah, fingers crossed he'll be dead soon.

It’s not looking like Biden was the best person to dethrone Trump. If Biden wins it will be nail bitingly close. Surely to god there was someone younger, brighter, more charismatic, and less creepy than Biden that could have been put against the man with literally zero redeeming features and absolutely trounced him. Clinton or Obama would have trounced Trump surely as a for instance.

Agree, Bernie better than them both, but still very pensionable. Surely America deserves better than these 3. Or... on the other hand... maybe it doesn’t...

I dunno. This was my thought earlier, but then they said Biden is on course to get more votes than anyone in the US ever, including Obama, so he hasn't done too badly!

The only reason it's so close is that Trump is on course to get the 2nd most votes ever. Which just goes to show how fucked up the USA is!

Massive turnout...from both sides.

They may as well take up arms and sort it out properly, like the old days.

When does all the violence start?

That's the scariest part of all this. Suppression of legitimate votes is a call to arms: I would be manning the barricades !

Does nothing to unite the country.

He’s desperate. He knows he’s lost this election and is trying everything to keep power.

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
