Old easty going to be insufferable over foden. 👌

He's top quality. He would be wasted in midfield, he has to be one of the attacking three.

Rice, Mount, Grealish, Foden, Sterling and Kane.

City were good tonight. We looked very solid. 4-1 flatters us a bit but we deserved to win.

Neville said on commentary Allison is probably the best keeper in the world. I accept all keepers have bad games, I'm not sure I have ever put him as best in world.

It's hard to say, I think. Players like Martinez at Villa have to make so many saves in each game. Guys that play in goal for the top clubs usually face far fewer shots. It's a weird one. I'm not sure who I would say the best in the world is at the moment. Ten years ago there was an adundance of great GKs but it feels like they are harder to come by now.

I agree. The way I look at best in world is would a fan outside their league pick them. I'm not convinced someone predominantly watching La Liga, Serie A or Bundesliga picks Allison.

There is every possibility Man City could get caught up with - every potential title challenger has so far had poor form. But equally, they do look like they're steamrollering the competition right now and it'll take a lot to stop them.

Who could challenge them? Certainly not United and certainly not liverpool. So then you are looking at either Leicester or West Ham.

That's pretty much part of the conundrum. Man Utd and Liverpool are too erratic and Leicester's form is kinda on par with those two - especially at home, where Leicester have been oddly inconsistent. It's a two part thing, in that we'd need both Man City to have a few duff results and one of the chasing pack to demonstrate the kind of consistent results that have so far been elusive.

It's not impossible, but it is starting to feel like a long shot.

In hindsight perhaps it was a tad premature to label liverpool the best team ever to grace the field.

At least Liverpool actually won some stuff. You were trying to give Fernandes awards the other day, even though he has not achieved anything. He has a good highlights reel though, I will give you that.
