To be fair most of the liverpool supporters have gone back in hiding. Saying that easty you are just a bad champions league result from disappearing again. 😛

I disappeared once. In my defence I was in hospital pissing blood out of my back side. I don't think it was Champions league when I had a few days off. I definitely did not do a Wooderson.

Unfortunately for you, they're not going to match City's record of getting relegated the season after winning the title. 😛

Apparently we have no history 🤷‍♂️

Thats a great record to have. Only team in history to win title and then get relegated the following season.

We were also the only team in history to get relegated despite scoring the most goals in div. We scored and conceded over 100 goals that season.

Have you actually seen Newcastle play this season? They can't score goals.

I mean, we can, but pretty much all of them are scored by Callum Wilson, which isn't an option until early April as he's injured.

You should get something at Old Trafford.

Well, we somehow beat Everton home and away and also beat West Ham. Though wouldn't be a surprise if we needed a dubious VAR penalty as we got at Spurs.

Fulham being within touching distance might give you a kick up the arse. Once you have Wilson back, you should have enough to keep you safe. Wilson, Almiron and Saint-Maximum provide genuine threat. That is something none of bottom three possess.

You are re writing history there easty, you gone missing after a bad result more times than any scouser.

Hmmmm... we were alright in the first half and actually could've had another goal but after a poorly defended second goal, we never looked like getting back into it. I never expected anything from back-to-back visits from Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford, but its still disappointing.

Wolves at home next week is must win territory, even if Wilson is still knacked and Joelinton (supposedly the back-up) possibly getting injured as well. The fact an 11 point lead on the relegation zone has been clawed away so quickly means we have to get points on the board ASAP. And no doubt means a return for the "Bruce Must Go" crowd to take the lead for the week ahead.

My posting history suggests otherwise 🤷‍♂️

Well, we weren't outclassed in the first half yesterday. But we seemed to just lose our way after the second Manchester United goal and never really looked like recovering.

You were well in it and the better team till Rashford dived.

Hopefully Fulham stay within 3 points until the last game of the season. Would be a great last day of the season.

Must admit been pretty impressed with Fulham last couple of months.

Forgive me for not entirely wanting such a prospect to play out. Seems like the kind of thing we'd lose with the stakes that high. Fulham have indeed played rather well of late without necessarily getting the wins to back it up, but now that they are, they're definitely making things more interesting.

I've just stopped caring if we go down. I think it'd be max 2 seasons in the Championship any time we do, along with hopefully some wins and a better manager. It also might spark Ashley to sell cheaper. These endless miserable relegation battles and turgid football have turned me off almost as much as VAR.

Open to interpretation isn't it. Chelsea's defence of the title in 15/16 was far worse imo. We finished 10th ffs.

Tables like that are not overly serious.

My personal favourite is Leeds finishing 17th,  the year after winning the title in 1992.

Winning it with a total of 99 points is always going to create a figure like this. Some of those title winning points were in the 80s. Nobody was getting as high as ours and City’s totals the last few years this season regardless of injuries even with fully fit squads.

Shit standard of league now, thats what you scousers always told me. 😀

Like I said tables like that shouldn't be taken seriously. Same as those who claimed liverpool were the best ever team to grace the field. 😎

I don’t know any LFC fan who has claimed the league was shit. That was hat people were telling us last season as a reason to why we ran away with it.
Personally think it’s the strongest league in Europe in terms of how many top teams there are, especially compared to the likes of Italy and France.

This season has just become about praying we get top 4 😅 I’m confident with a full squad we’ll be back to running City close next season again.

Not sure about that to be honest, seems to be more issues there than a few centre backs out.

It all stems back to that in my opinion. As a result we’ve lost 2 of our best midfielders as they’ve had to drop back to CB. (And are also now injured 😂). Position is cursed.
If anything positive should come from this it’s that all the LFC fans who slag off Henderson now realise his importance. Having Henderson and Fabinho back in midfield will be just as big as VVD and Gomez/Matip back in defence.

Still wonder where Wijnaldum is off. It was rumoured Barcelona but the likelihood of Koeman still being there next season seems lower with each passing week.

I know it was not the Premier League, but City won the title and got relegated the following season.

Yeah saw that post from Neil and checked it out(mid 30s), thought it might of been 68 when you won the league as that's how it went in that era. One year united were winning leagues, next year they were near bottom.

As he played for city twice, have you checked out the documentary 'lawman'? Very good watch.

The season they got relegated in the 30's, City scored and conceded over 100 goals. They were the highest scorers in the division and still went down.

No chance the 68 team went down, they were shit hot. Thats when we used to spank United all the time.

Not seen the documentary, will give it a watch. If it shows him relegating United then all the better.

    • Another note, if I didn't mention the food in the arena for main stage is right at the back. Bands wise they do very well for but as a festival so far they pros are outweighed quite heavily currently for me.
    • On another note for RIP as an event, there is some good things but there are so many things people going to UK festivals would hate and how far behind they are.  Consistent network and water, beer and pretzel like food is brought around to buy in the crowds. Topping up on the wristband is good. The camping and food arrangement is not good, you really need cooking kit. Water points inside the arena are bonkers, water points in camping are a faff unless you are close enough in general camp. Merch stands are crazy. You MASSIVELY need to think about your lidl shop for camping and try and do it so you've one stop. It's definitely worth it getting to a camping shop here, picking up a rolley between your mates and stacking it for the walk back....lidl is cheap though, not hard getting in but Thursday queues getting in and into the camping is mad. You have to register first for a wristband as well leaving any bigger bags behind so pull to a side if only two and do it separately. I was joining a WhatsApp group for solo camp so went with the flow but I've learnt. Had it been me or just two my tent would have been down much quicker.  Big final note, I got a fresh and black 3 man from decathlon before coming and put in bigger suitcase with my airbed and sleeping bag...do this. Take a smaller option for your clothes. If you go to Munich first, book your train to Nuremberg as far in advance as you can....very important!....it hikes crazy. Probably bettee overall for baggage sizes to do BA both ways but you do then need to go back to Munich after too. Use the B&B hotel hbf the night before....its very nice, comfortable, cheap and within 10 minutes of the station which also serves as a transport stop 15 minutes from the registration.  Get up literally like 5am with everything back the night before, shower and go. Transport is free anyway for festival ticket holders during the duration.  Would I just choose to travel in each day and back to a hotel?, on the basis of sleep and getting accommodation cheap enough for 3 nights i might just do especially if I picked the ticket up early enough. It doesn't feel like a festival in a normal sense....unless you are in general yoi have to exit on the paths outside the camping to walk down and in which also applies for getting water so have a stock up. Toilets are in the camping.
