Are the VMs still fortnightly? Feel like I'm overdue. Be nice to see how everyone is getting on.

Would have joined the Brits one but was watching with the wife, so may have been a bit rude!

Who has had it recently? Anything serious? I passed an LFT earlier. Not sure what you have to do to catch it these days!

Stu and big d … big d rough for 36 hours. Getting better now and Stu’s been ok

I've not exactly been asymptomatic though, I'm just a brave little soldier.

Positive line came up strong within seconds, before the control line for the last couple of days. Physically not too bad today, but the brain fog is real. Yesterday I was incredibly listless, couldn't concentrate on anything for more than a few minutes and had to find hundreds of tiny activities to get through the day.

My daughter also has it, but she had the faintest of lines this morning, will hopefully be free on Wednesday. Meanwhile I'm due back at work on Thursday (been on pre-booked holiday), looks like I'll have spent all of my leave stuck in the house having covid. Wonderful.

Will work not allow you to amend that to sick leave?

Will see if I can drop in again this week, having a curry in the village with the neighbours Fri night so will see what time I potter home. No booze this week, game on Saturday!

    • We head out in the morning. Couple of nights in New York then up to Boston. Enjoy the games lads and hopefully we get some great football to take our minds off the whole shitshow off the pitch.
    • White Stripes/QotSA at Harewood 2007, Tramlines (and Blue Dot, same weekend) in '23, and Elbow at Jodrell Bank '13.
    • Yeah exactly, the shock moments, group layouts, etc all end up playing out differently once you get into the tournament. However you tweak it, you don't predict shocks.
