Remember, only 18 Mondays to get through!

I know thank you.  Worked some ridiculous hours the last 5 weeks - still away from home , and last week was 87 hours, the week before 112 and the week before 125 .... it hurts. Not had a day off since 8 Jan ... still all good, I am still smiling and its only 17 Mondays now - or even better only 14 for me and I will be on site in my tent 🙂

I made it back to the U.K. …. Now time to have some time back to myself , not live in a hotel and reconnect with friends and family . Spent the first flight listening to Frank turner and Sam fender and finally feeling like I’ve made it back to the real world . I’m at Heathrow and going to check out @danbailey80 band

Is there a VM this weekend? Am now isolating with Covid, removing the 'I only really drink outside of home/don't drink Fridays as I play football on Saturdays' conundrum/s!

Edit: I see it appears to be this weekend!

Sounds good - I've never seen them before!

(Fun fact: my second ever gig was at the Fleece in 1993. Radiohead for £3.50.)

Virtual meet will be non stop discussion of the line up tonight

Am I allowed to wang on endlessly about how I don't have a ticket (feel like I've let myself down badly on that front this year!)?

    • Lovely Brexit doc on bbc2 for anyone who wants to relive those golden years.
    • I think some folks are underestimating how many millennials, now into heavier music, were genuinely also into things like techno and happy hardcore in the 90s and early 00s. Scooter may be about is commercialized as it gets when it comes to happy hardcore and techno, but for many, they won't be just a 'silly act' they will be a genuine nostalgia act.
    • Can anyone share please as can’t access the app
    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
