Cheers my man. It's all happening. My bruv who lives in the US is getting jabbed with Moderna one on the weekend, and his wife is getting the pfizer one. Apparently you can book which you want....and by time he got on the website all the pfizers ones were gone....

Had my jab today.  East London. Early 40s.  Mild / moderate asthma.  Interestingly I was told I was invited because I’m on a local hospital’s patient list ... but I am not getting treatment for anything at the moment so it was a bit of a surprise.

marvellous news, my Mums second is Saturday which is brilliant

Interestinly my brother lives in bali, they have chosen 3 towns to vaccinate first to try to get tourism up and running, he queues from 6:30 saturday morning to get vaccinated, there were scuffles, letting people in 150 at a time, police had to be called to calm the crowds, but he got oxford by midday 🙂 and an appointment for his second jab at the same time

This Is a good article covering Indonesia. They’ve already reversed the vaccinate the young first plan because unsurprisingly the at risk kept dying.

Batam and Bintan off singapore are also being fast tracked to try and form travel Bubbles and get tourism back.

Now that we've got a good handle on the vulnerable, and the evidence on vaccines strongly reducing spread, is it time to start vaccinating those in meat processing plants and other high transmission areas?

No. It’s been done to death why the vaccine programme is based entirely on age and health issues.

Wasn't that based on knowing covid kills the vulnerable, but not knowing whether vaccines stop the spread?  Both of those variables have changed considerably.  Have I missed any other reasons?

Not that I think they'll do it.

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
