yep thats the one I tried but thanks 🙂

Ah interesting! What does it say then? Just that you have to wait for your GP? I think for me it just asked for my NHS number and what category I was in and then it was postcode and list of centres and dates.

Yeah this is what my parents were told too (AZ, Essex). My father-in-law (Pfizer, Warwickshire) got his second appointment booked there and then while having his first. Seems to vary a lot!

My mum got Pfizer 2 days after me, (first one was back in January and the GP surgery contacted her by phone) they said when she went for her first someone would contact her nearer the time regarding the second, think that was about 8 or 9 weeks ago so not heard anything yet.

I got mine as frontline healthcare staff, had to book via a link, and it automatically booked me in for my second (accepting both dates was a condition of booking) 9 or 10 weeks later (Pfizer), however they texted me last week to say they'd moved it a further week into the future.

Sister got hers as a social worker, booked via a link, they said they'd email her nearer the time regarding the second jab (also Pfizer), also hasn't heard from them yet (she was 5 days after mine).

So, no pattern seems to be emerging, but lets be honest, we'll be anxious and paranoid and soiling ourselves that it's not going to happen until the second doses have all been booked and administered!

Cheers .. I know it’ll come ... just that date would be nice ... I’ll just ring them if I’ve had nothing by week 11 🙂

It's like how we used to feel waiting for the confirmation email on ticket day!

Lots more normality round here- neighbours have people over next door and the one beyond them, same for some friends elsewhere. Everyone seems in a great mood on my WhatsApp groups too. (Couple of people without masks in tesco, both staff and customers, usually 100% compliance here - not sure everyone else will see that as a good thing though!)  Moving in the right direction I feel.

I haven't had enough of WFH and I'm a person, so Johnson is wrong.

The actual quote was Johnson saying our friend Rishi is pushing this. The man has no idea of the real world.

We have an extra bank holiday next year for the Queen’s Jubilee. Getting through all ‘this’ is surely at least equally worthy of celebration?

So wrong - although appreciate some people’s homes are not set up for wfh/they need to see people if living alone etc. After a consultation survey with staff, my work is making the decision on what a ‘post-Covid’ workspace looks like in the next few weeks - going to be tough as you can’t please everyone.

I'm tired of the language this government use, basically implying everyone feels the way they say they feel.

Mad that I work for the biggest government department and we’re introducing hybrid/flexible whatever you want to call it across the whole organisation!! Then you have Boris saying that.... crazy.

This government believes they can gaslight the country, and unfortunately they seem to get away with it more often than not. Sunak’s comments were utterly laughable the other day and no doubt part of their gaslight strategy. That one doesn’t seem like it’s particularly worked, but given Boris is off on it as well I imagine they’ll keep trying.

I've worked from home for 8 years & I've worked my bollocks off. Now Spaffer reckons I've basically been skiving for 8 years? Disrespectful fucking c**t!!!!!

Yup. And if they do want people heading back in to the office like good little worker bees, slagging us all off like this is the exact opposite way to go about it. Sunak’s mask has slipped and hopefully everyone now sees him for the total bellend he is.
