I thought the same. I'm in Spain and everyone wears them at all times in public and always properly.

Wearing it inches below your mouth is not to wear it at all.

thats a fair representation of everywhere in the Uk I would think ....

I've accepted it ain't changing for me in South Yorkshire for months as I'm expecting no change tomorrow probably just about rightly so. Then Xmas and the way cases are rising elsewhere in expecting another national lockdown irrespective of our local case numbers for a number of weeks next month.

I reckon Easter before we get anywhere near the heady days of the freedom of the end of lockdown 1.0.

Just had a clip on news from Leeds and pub and cafe owners were saying they couldn't see the point of opening if go into tier2 as they just expected another lockdown after christmas.

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
