His video is designed to discredit, delegitimise and demoralise. Its not welcome.

Sorry that's your impression, I disagree but I really shouldn't have posted it in this thread, should have put in the Cyndi thread, might have got a less emotional and more reasoned response. Going to leave the subject now.

Appreciate your kind response mate. I don't mean to be too defensive either. Apols.

Nice to see Ticketmaster offering ticket+coach options for the wembley gig. Soured on biggreencoach last year after they cancelled my Def Leppard and Madonna coaches a week before I was meant to be getting on them. I assume ticketmaster making them part of the ticket means they have to exist even if take up isn't great.

Took a look and this just reminds me the incredible value of the festival . People knock the pointy stage but that is where you definately get your moneys worth . Sadly I’m out with those prices

I paid £130 for rear standing inc fees for AC/DC at Wembley on Sunday, and I only did that really as a big group of us went plus I know I'd never see them live again (saw them once before in 2009)

I got her £115 seating tickets and whilst she's glad she's going (it sold out v quickly) she did say its quite a lot and it was at the more mid-range of prices so wasn't much more I could do (the £80 and £100 ones had already sold out)

It's gone onto dynamic pricing now, so average price is way higher now.

That second date has flown out.

All lower tier seats gone except random 1s, the back of the gods is pretty much gone too just a couple thousand seats left on the sides of gods and a bit of standing!

I wonder how many people criticise Dua for an elaborate, choreographed headline set in which she sung live and danced, whilst at the same time praise acts who plug in a USB stick, press play, bounce around and let the light show create the illusion they’re doing anything.

I Just wish the bicep glue mix had come across better live. i didnt catch it at all until i watched the show back. i was pretty close to the front barrier where the mini stage was. no i wasnt spangled before anyone asks !

Not difficult to sound great when much of the music and vocals are pre-recorded, understandable to a degree when she was dancing a lot but it's a bit of a stretch to call this a live performance given the analysis here,

So Dua sounded great and Cyndi sounded sh*t, but a least she was doing it live. BTW Fil has been exposing the use of autotune , pitch correction and other fakery in the business for quite some time, you might not like this message but he is a champion of real live music.

Nah this video can get to f**k.

Dua was 100% singing live, she had backing track for the dance heavy sections I am sure, who actually cares though?

when she was actually properly singing you could, the I could be the one moment is a great example of how good she sounded live,

Watched it back twice and you can tell she is singing, video is designed to have a dig at her despite him telling you otherwise.

this guy is giving me the living embodiment of “proper music, born in the wrong generation” type.

Cyndi has never been a good singer live, that why she sounds sh*t.

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
