Some of you are setting yourselves up to be extremely disappointed 😂

Lower your expectations a bit. Look at what happened with All Points East, people were throwing some of the biggest names in music around and we ended up with London Grammar, Jamie XX and a Field Day takeover.

The most important thing this year is not the lineup, but just being there in the first place 😊

I'm expecting Radiohead to do three sets, OKC in full, Kid A in full, and debuting their new album in full and expect nothing less.

Nah, the names that have been suggested are realistic ones (apart from my suggestion of Gorillaz that I retracted).

Ok that is pretty fucking strong. Sure we're missing some big hitters but Stereolab, Hot Chip, Arab Strap, John Grant added is all good with me.

Johnny Greenwood is a pretty special booking for them too, even if I'm less fussed about him personally.

Jonny Greenwood is big in terms of an act that never tours, excellent booking. The other acts who were booked I can see again but Greenwood is much harder to catch.

Arab Strap is great. And I tweeted them a few months back suggesting that, so I'm taking credit for it!

I've got AS tickets for about 2 days after EOTR, in Camden.  Might try and shift those now

So we thinking Stereolab for the Thursday headline?

And what kinda music does Jonny G play solo? 🤔

Probs film score work and some Steve Reich covers, though thats if he's got an orchestra like the LCO with him.. But there's no indication of that?

    • Have you tried Anna von Hausswolff yet? Great singer, and she's from Gothenburg so guess she'll be extra excited to show her skills, especially after she unfortunately had to cancel her early summer dates.    Different style, but Oklou for me was the highlight of Primavera (apart from Geese), really enjoyable relaxed music.
    • A few bigger acts that did other similar festivals this year but not Truck, wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of these (if they're touring):   Reytons The Streets Blossoms Sophie-Ellis Bextor Rick Astley Scissor Sisters Dizzee Rascal   Truck on the undercard seems to rotate a lot of it every 2/3 years, expect to see some of these (if they're touring): Yard Act Sports Team Sea Girls Pale Waves Fat Dog Peace Swim Deep Courting   Hope Westside Cowboy and Radio Free Alice are booked again and get some bigger slots next year
    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
