Bit soft for my taste, but you get the reason they are playing this......

So many Neil Young covers sends a message in itself.

Truth is that the Stereophonics had a go at Old Laughing Lady. The Stereophonics do not have many finest moments, this might be one.

Everybody loves Neil Young, it is true.

Paul Weller doing Birds.

I'm not a fan of Weller, but Birds covers are rare, so here we are,

In hindsight some tunes should only be performed by the original artist.

Neil Young can't really sing, or play a piano, but still does the ones what he wrote better than any of the covers. And very few are brave enough to tackle the likes of Birds.

I think you've missed the point in spectacular fashion.

I doubt he expects to "win" ie Spotify to cancel their deal with Rogan, but simply that he feels it's something worth taking a stance on. Which it is.
