Just heard them today trying to fill in my schedule. Brilliant!

Seen them a few times now after coming across them at BD. I’ve got to know Scott reasonably well, he’s living the dream!

Swap W Holts and Park.  Maybe even swap Other and John Peel with the amount of pop that's on there.

Hmm, on reflection, I'd say Other and John Peel are both starting points (one for the more mainstream tastes, one for the more leftfield ). These two paths then converge into the Park stage

Other --->                Pyramid    --->                          West Holts --->

                                                                                                                               ------->   Park -----> Avalon ----> Acoustic

John Peel ---> SE Corner (before midnight) ---> Silver Hayes/Glade --->

The different stages of glastonbury represent the different stages of your life, think the full life cycle is:

John peel---> Other ---> Pyramid ---> Park ---> West Holts ---> Avalon ---> Acoustic

Wasn't sure where to put Glade, Silver Hayes and SE corner though! Maybe between Pyramid and Park...

Looks like I'm regressing.

This can also occur- while the natural flow of time pushes you through the path depicted, the closer you get to your 'chair in the Acoustic tent'  fate, the more your soul will rebel and try to pull you back into the light

I love them!  I have seen them a number of times but won't be missing them on Sunday morning!  And they are genuinely nice guys too (I don't know them but have chatted to them after gigs).

Aye, I'm the second, currently somewhere between Glade and the Park (but don't mind a dabble in the good old WH).  Most of my mates are the former. Good to know I'll eventually go to a Glastonbury where we can hang out whilst watching live music. Even if it is on a blanket in the acoustic tent

How busy do we think it'll be for Morcheeba?

I'd quite like to scoot across after Maribou State for something to watch before Hopkins. But I've not seen an act on Avalon before so no idea what it's like in the evening.

Well that’s me in the knackers yard then, by the looks of things I should have my chair and blanket  outside my caravan  listening to radio 5 live,

Well since  I had the confirmation I’m an Worthy Warrior, I shall simply recycle my stage life choices and start at JP again.

Will someone relive this thread I don’t want to be a thread killer.

The Avalon Bar is having an all new timber frame structure this year. Better than ever with an upstairs balcony.

Built from Douglas Fir by the amazingly talented Hedge.

shall we run a book on whether it's still being built on Wednesday afternoon...? :P

My first pint at the avalon inn wouldn't be the same without the chainsaw rattling away in the background.

We got talking to the guys who put the old avalon timber structure up at bearded theory this year and it took 6 days to build.

    • The first half of that game was cracking but then I fell asleep at half time. Maybe that's just the momentum of things.

    • A win is a win but it was a very poor game with only 4 shots on target in the whole game. Scotland obviously handed a massive bonus with Brazil and Morocco drawing but I don't think either of them will be too worried.
