I am working all weekend which is taking my mind off it somewhat!

However, my plans for success tomorrow morning have been scuppered somewhat! I work for a mobile radiography company and although I have to work, I shall be in front of a laptop at 9am tomorrow morning. Made sure I was rota’d with someone who is sensitive to my Glastonbury needs and is fine with me hammering away on F5 (indeed, he is going to try on his phone for me in between patients!).

Whichever site we scan at, we are reliant on local 3/4G reception to complete our admin tasks on the laptop. The vast majority of the sites we work at have good connection...apart from one where it is extremely patchy, and at times non-existent. And have a guess where there sending me tomorrow..:.

Trying not to worry about it too much, what will be will be. Think I’m going to be relying on the 5 others in our group this year though!

Off to work now and a busy night, then bed! But I'm so nervous, hoping to celebrate my 40th birthday at Glastonbury, but I'll hold out for resale and also book a trip away. Good luck everyone :)

I had my 40th there 2 years ago .. and what an excellent place to have the party ... good luck ... this year glastonbury falls on the following weekend :(..  good luck

Just back in Somerset after a 27 hour journey from Thailand via Singapore.  Haven't got a clue what time or day it is....just hoping we manage to get it all sorted this afternoon and then wake up for the sale tomorrow!

Dear god, make sure you put your clocks back on the right time.

Usually takes me a week to get round to that.

Just leaving to meet the remaining 2 of our groups at the pub to organise where some of them are going to try tomorrow and to give the newbies a crash course on how to buy Glasto Tickets.

Trying to make sure the newbies are spread out with the Oldens so they can be supervised come T day ???

For the first time ever I got coach tickets, so its a strange one for me, not having to rely on the main sale.  Only two of us on the coach, so the other six still need to get sorted.  Will obviously be trying for them, but don't know if it will be as stressful as usual.  Probably will, as it's not the same without all your mates there.

Up at 4am for Moto GP, straight into ticket frenzy, then off for a run to either smile and say hello to everyone or scowl and swear!!

We have also decided it's either Sunday or not at all. So tickets tomorrow, or it's Boomtown. Can't handle the stress of resales as well....

Ugh, feeling very stressed about it all today! Went for a run in the rain to blow away the cobwebs, but it hasn't done much for the stress! Still, I'm going to spend the rest of the day chilling and will aim for a reasonably early night. I'll be heading into the office bright and early tomorrow morning - the only time I have ever been successful at getting past the holding page was buying 2017 tickets from work, so that's my talisman. The fact that I've changed jobs since shouldn't matter, right? Right? :D

We're also pretty much on the tomorrow or bust track. If it doesn't happen then I'm not getting involved in the resale, we'll just do something else (and maybe book a nice far away trip for sometime around the last weekend of June...)

Good luck all! Hope to see lots of good news stories here tomorrow!

I will be popping round to Tday hq in an hour to copy all the groups details onto the other 4 laptops, getting them in position and doing updates, all ready to rock up bright and early tomorrow. I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.

As for relaxation, reading all of these threads is not helping the nerves!

Looking at cheap deals for a holiday in June in case the unthinkable happens. Just the one bite of the cherry this year and if no joy then definitely not looking at the resale. Can’t be chewed with the uncertainty between now and April!!

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
    • In a 6,800-word Substack essay, external, the Clacton MP said "anti-white racism was embedded into the state", and that legislation aimed at equality was a form of "social cleansing"   .https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjkd4mp93zo   The privileged white c**t hasn’t got a clue what racism is.
    • BBC iPlayer: Will serve as the main hub for past sets, including both recent hits and iconic archival gems. You can explore the BBC iPlayer to watch curated compilations, "Best of Glastonbury" recaps, and on-demand replays of historic headline performances. [1, 2, 3] TV Broadcasts (BBC Two & BBC Three): The channels will air dedicated compilation shows. Leading up to the weekend, you can watch archive programming such as Glastonbury: 70s Legends, 80s Legends, and 90s Legends on BBC Two. [1] Radio & BBC Sounds: Pop-up Glastonbury radio stations on BBC Sounds will feature non-stop coverage, including exclusive mixes and huge sets from past years
    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
