Added to the playlist are the Common lineup (again, only DJs who actually play their own material), the Emerging Talent Competition finalists, new TBC John Fairhurst and new SRs Placebo and Gabrielle Aplin. Also updated Fat White Family selections, now that we have the new album.

And thank you @Beerqueen, good to hear.

Added the Sonic lineup to the Glastonbury 2019 playlist, after Avalon. Enjoyed more of it than I expected tbh, esp the mellower tones of Crazy P, Dan Shake, and FKJ, all new to me. Also recent TBCs Freestylers, Land of Giants and brilliantly-named wonky Welsh slackers Sock.

Just seen the Freestylers TBC - anyone know if it's a live set or a DJ set? Former I'm very much hoping.

Good Morning campers, has anyone made a Shangri La playlist as of yet? Shall I make one? I am at work but more than happy to procrastinate.

Yes please!  I love the main list but also find the sub-lists really helpful.

I've added the Truth and Scum stage lineups to the big Glastonbury 2019 playlist. So far as possible, the 3 songs played most often live by each act. Also the Gentleman's Dub Club/Nextmen night on Clash, one track per vocalist, and the recently self-confirmed Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Real, Big Moon, Stanton Warriors, Squid and Mal Webb.

Standouts for me, of the unfamiliar names, are Onipa, described as "a quality union between Afrofuturism, Congotronics, funk and urban electronic vibes" (fronted by KOG from KOG & The Zongo Brigade and featuring members of Nubiyan Twist), and ex-Heck power duo Haggard Cat.

@Brave Sir Robin - this playlist is proving extremely useful! But I've got a bit excited about the addition of Crystal Fighters...where have they come from? Are they rumoured/self-confirmed/on a poster without me realising?

I added them after they had a burst of social media activity (likes etc) that suggested they'd be appearing. A bit surprised we've heard nothing further though, so don't get your hopes up too much.

taking it's time but i'm getting there, we are lucky buggers with this line up

Great - and fast! - work @cb4747! You can take off Pragmatic and SOULOUD though, they aren't the right ones (and the real ones don't have any material on Spotify, as far as I can see).

Smashing thanks.

Has anyone done one for The Glade?

I JUST CANNOT RESIST PROCRASTINATION

Question re Spotify please form

a total techno phobe.  I was using Deezer before. I’ve had a trial which I’ve been listening to on my iPhone. I’ve now upgraded to premium, but it says I’ve got 30 days free premium before I pay anything. However I’m still getting ads and can only listen to music on shuffle. Is there a prob with it on the iPhone?

West Holts full lineup now present and in correct running order on the Glastonbury 2019 playlist. It's between the main poster and Avalon, about 1/4 through, from The Mauskovic Dance Band to Janelle Monae. As ever, songs selected are those played most often at recent shows (based on Setlist.fm and extra Googling), to give the best idea of what they'll play at the farm; 5 songs for each of the major stage acts.

There's no problem with it on the iPhone, I use it all the time. Sounds like the app isn't finding your premium account - try logging out and in again? Or re-installing the app?

    • Having done all three, Porto is lovely, very chilled but nowhere near as exciting as Barcelona (nor as many options). Bilbao BBK has charm but again not a patch on Barcelona really.   ps and the beer was 5.50, not 5, last year 😉
    • Honest question and with the risk of getting slaughtered, do you feel people should stop the chatting on the entire field? When my group is in the front rows we surely keep the talking to a minimum and largely only about how great or bad the artist is. But surely on the main field when you are further back (lets say around the bars (200 meters from the podium) you should be able to have a conversation. If people are still annoyed about that I would recommend them moving up further.
    • I just genuinely think they don't understand technology and its felt like this since the invention of the internet.   Also see say a speech on a Monday saying we want to be a world leader in "this thing" then on a Wednesday another speech saying "this thing" is bad and needs to be banned/regulated out of existance.
    • My party again had an outstanding 4 days in Barca. We made the right call to leave the festival site early at about 10.30 on Thursday to get ourselves some excellent steaks in the city. I am with everyone that the organization should have been clearer about what is going on and also if you would like to get rid of some attendees open more exits, they sent us from gate to gate until we finally were able to get out. Biggest 'disappointment' was the beer price, a YoY increase from 5 to 6 is absolutely nuts!!! (i am living in Switzerland so me making this comment says something 🙂)   Top 10:   1. Men I Trust 2. Role Model (could have been first as well, what a great artist and great songs) 3. The XX 4. The cure (the last 90 minutes) 5. Gorillaz 6. MBV 7. Ninajirachi (another big miss of the organization, clearly on the wrong podium and wonder if Olivia's surprise set had something to do with that and they had to reschuffle late the Occident, Cupra and Port schedules) 8. NewDad 9. Big Thief 10. Annastashia      We did 3 years Barca now and for next year looking at the Porto or Bilbao festivals as an option.
    • Personally if it was me now, I would be grabbing a green camping ticket with the knowledge closer when I've refreshed that I can still choose general if I want to....you can't do the opposite!    I would say if you are happy to watch your headliners and big bands further back to be able to see who you actually plan to later then yes it is fine. Its a much difference experience to any other festival especially food wise and camping surrounds.    Once you're in the arena as well you're not going back unless you've got a gap. If I go again I'll be going with the option of not trying to push the front and enjoying further back as you actually put too much pressure on it than the time take away can forget to enjoy other acts.
