Just accept that people have different opinions to you, and stop being a whiny bitch.

I'm being facetious, calm down. I'm also known for being a massive Muse fan on here so I'm clearly I don't care that much about them beating someone in a bracket tournament.

You may have caught me at a bad moment, but in the last page I saw you suggest that Biffy Clyro fans are preschoolers, that this section is embarassing for voting against you and that you were retiring from this section. I just found it a bit tiresome. Let people like who they like man.

A joke is a joke but it seemed that you genuinely looked down on people disagreeing with you.  But yeah, maybe I don't know of you well enough.

All good anyway, apologies for the outburst.

Yeah I have a very dry posting style/sense of humour so it's probs just the way it comes across. If you were more familiar with my posts it'd probably come across less like that.

I loved Biffy Clyro when I was like 16 but I and most people I know who liked them then have kinda grown out of them since. Obviously the pre-school thing is a massive exaggeration, though.

And like I say I used to love Muse and would happily vote for them against half the acts in this competition.

Still, The Strokes and The White Stripes being wiped out so early is a tragedy.

Luck of the draw isn't it? If either of these drew Franz Ferdinand or Razorlight they'd go through

Anyone who voted Biffy over The Strokes and Muse over The White Stripes must be 6 years old.

You're gonna set me off!

Agreed with rfc. I'd have voted for The Strokes and The White Stripes against a lot of bands in this competition but unlucky to come against Muse and Biffy for me, who I know more songs of and actually saw and loved their headline sets at Reading.

    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
    • Proper loser behaviour wearing a tee like that. Me and my mate play a game every year called ‘Boomer Tees’ and there’s some gems every time.
