thing is, last time dan did this noone believed him, we will reach the same predicament at 300, i guess its just something to do

It's so hard to believe someone that drops true info alongside fake info, i'm going to blindly follow everything he says from this point onwards cause it's always the most solid info we get and if we're going to believe any rumours it might as well be the ones that come from him

Not a Leeds band, APE and Glasto would be the best fit, seeing them in Manchester and Leeds - cannot wait.

Furthest thing from an R&L booking in my opinion, never been a fan of him really but can understand the appeal, just far better suited for Latitude, APE, Glasto etc.

Only recently did I read on his chequered history oh and I found out the groans at the end of Stagger Lee was metaphorical for ejaculation.

Personal highlights of the years I've been to Leeds:

Kendrick Lamar in 2015. One of (if not the) best gigs I've ever been to. Really really amazing.

Foals in 2016. Probably my favourite headline set I've seen at the festival. Was pouring with rain at points, but that just made it even more intense and fun imo.

Palma Violets in 2014. They were great headlining the FR tent that night. Loved 180 at the time, and it still holds up imo.

Frank Turner in 2015. Another great FR tent headliner. Probably the most intimate set I've experienced at R&L. Crowd were in tears at points.

Wolf Alice in 2014. Just before their career really took off, could easily see it coming at the time too.

Boy Better Know in 2016. They felt so huge at the time, I thought they were gonna go on to headline eventually. Set full of bangers.

Brockhampton in 2018. Crowd was mad. Was reaaaaally into them at the time too.

Muse in 2017. Never been their biggest fan but I'd never seen them up until that point and thought they put on a great show.

Absolutely naff in 2012. I really haven’t liked them live whenever I’ve seen them. It’s almost like they play their own songs too fast.

Was the first time I’d seen them so had nothing to compare to but that was my same complaint for Mumford in 2015, thought their set was a mess

What’s the worst set you’ve seen at any festival?

Arctic Monkeys at Open'er 2018 were pretty poor imo, just found it a bit boring. Not that i dont like their new sound it just doesn't work well when played alongside their older stuff

Thirty Seconds To Mars at Leeds 2011. Leto barely sang any of the songs, wasted so much time talking and his messiah complex was on full display. I had bought a ticket primarily to see them and walked away from the set a bit pissed off at how crap it was.
