I've been keeping tabs on Euro rumours about Neil and they've been POTR shows. Imagine it will be confirmed one way or the other when the poster drops in the morning. CaledonianGonzo
Having seen him with both I'd have to say that the POTR show slightly edged the Crazy Horse show. Both were dope but the non-Horse setlist was ??

Amy Lawn
Sounds of the City lineups are always a disgraceful indictment of the local music tastes, save a couple of nights. Other than The National and Kylie, this year's is a strong argument that Manchester shouldn't be permitted to host gigs.

Always a chance that the MIF will put something a bit better on like Arcade Fire and (I think) Bjork

Elsewhere the National's SOTS gig has been billed as 'their first UK performance of 2019' FYI. So if they are, it'll be after the Castlefield date. Would be a bit naff to have them back again after three years. Already got a few rumours for Latitude. Neil has George Ezra, Snow Patrol and Lana Del Rey down on the rumours page. @Mezhyp1 has heard The Strokes are headlining it, but Neil thinks they're doing APE, but someone else in the APE thread doesn't think they're doing APE. So yeah, I'd expect the Latitude headliners to be there of those four.

The only other legitimate UK festival options would be Green Man or Blue Dot, I suppose?

scatteredscreens
Green Man/EoTR would be great but are they not too big for it now? It wouldn't shock me if this was their UK gig. Sort of how I think the APE gig for Bon Iver hasn't been described as their only UK gig but seems like it would be.

I guess there's EOTR, too, who managed to bag Vampire Weekend on an exclusive last year. Other than that they could do their own London show but that's basically what they did last year with APE Presents. And oh yeah, Citadel, too, as GOML says. But I reckon that'll be Vampire Weekend. If they're not releasing new music by next Summer I could see them doing nothing else tbh. Would make more sense for them to wait until 2020 when they have a new album than oversell themselves now.
