To just use the title of a a poor album to name a collective tour of early albums send massive we've ran out of ideas signs. They've done this tour before or very similar.

Tbf Infinity Land is 20 years old this year, so it does fit the criteria for an anniversary celebration.

It may do, but the title they are using is very cringy and poor.

It's a bit like let's make a new great album, we tried that, let's just reuse a title instead.

I suppose it is the acceptance of a downward slope.

I thought the same but regarding Bristol, until I remembered it's a completely different show later in the year. The band are great, but the shows that are just him and Steve (the keyboard player) are (IMO) far better as they don't feel obliged to play too many of the "hits".

Really liked a Celebration of Endings.  Though that and The Myth of the Happily Ever After were a big improvement on Ellipsis. The soundtrack album they did (Balance, Not Symmetry) is also really good.  I know they are all very different from the early albums in terms of sound, but they did feel like they were trying.

Managed to secure stalls for London nights 2 & 3, which were my two preferred. Shepherds Bush is going to be a v fun venue to see them in. The Forum felt small for them a couple years back. While I'm very excited for this, I do hope they've got a few big albums left in the tank (I quite enjoyed their most recent LP for what its worth)

Somebody was more on it than me. I totally forgot about the pre-sale, so wasn't surprised to log in just now to see everything gone.

Can't say I'm confident public sale will go much better.

Did nights 2 and 3 at Barras 10 years ago and night 2 is my favourite gig of all time, happy days!

Tbf I thought that's roughly what it would be. Would've been nice without the £11+ in fees, but that's any attempt to buy tickets for anything for ya.

That's outrageous to be honest I think. I know inflation but when those albums wre touring originally, they were £20/25 gigs.

I'm talking about asking people to pay at least 3 times the amount of money to hear those songs live now than previously. They aren't even album's than put the band on the big stage like Puzzle and Only Revolutions.

The price of London gigs are getting crazy!

That's fair but I wonder why?, they don't originate from Sheffield lol.

With London I meant in general. For example, you can see The Black Keys cheaper in Manchester Arena or Cardifd than in a smaller London venue.

Press release talked up the big crowd they got at Electric Picnic. Not sure a crowd at a festival in County Laois that had sold out before the full lineup drop should be used as an indicator of how successful this will be. But St Patrick's weekend is the perfect time for an on sale.

Its unlikely to sell out but they won't have cost very much

Its comparable to say Jungle or Demot Kennedy at APE last year, no chance of selling out but cheap to book and better than leaving the park empty
