Hoping they announce more, getting to Islington is just too much of a schlep for me. Do you know if it's the full lineup?

With Dub War putting out a new album again this year I'm feeling 17 again!

Got the last standing ticket for The Killers and MSP in Coventry. I questioned it due to it being the CL Final but I'm not massively arsed if I miss that.

Sounds like that'll be a brilliant gig - Manics supporting is a huge bonus!

Yeah, I wouldn't have gone for Blossoms or Sam Fender supporting. I'd thought about it ever since it was announced and thought screw it. So now just 2000 Trees Thursday, Splendour and Rock in the Park Wrexham to buy. Also nabbed a very cheap train ticket to Slam Dunk and got a lift back as a friend is doing an airport run and some day sightseeing while out.

I'm going to that. Hopefully it's awesome. Though I am making a habit of missing the Champions League final for events - was at Depeche Mode in 2017, Muse in 2019 and at a friend's barbecue last year. So I look forward to booking a 2023 alternative.

Honestly, I've got no real interest in it. Watching Liverpool possibly win over catching The Killers a last time is a no brainer.

Saw them supporting Royal Blood recently and they were sounding great!

Should've seen more of it tbf. A massive queue to get in meant I ended up making their set supporting RB in Birmingham just as they were starting their last 3 songs. It did sound good though.

Arcade Fire have finally announced their tour https://www.instagram.com/p/CdODwyzKINt/?igshid=NjY2NjE5MzQ=

I'm kinda surprised how short their US tour is. I know Thanksgiving and the cold Midwest winter are obstacles for a November tour but 19 European shows (with space for extra London dates) to 13 US/Canada shows by a US/Canada band is a bit of a surprise.

The Amazons just announced as support for Greta Van Fleet in Europe until June 15th. Could show up if they're active? Saw them supporting Royal Blood recently and they were sounding great!

They were really good. I wasn't always a big fan but saw them at 110 Above and then on the Royal Blood tour and I'm really impressed nowadays. The new songs sounded great too. Would always be a welcome addition

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
