Boy Azooga supporting Deerhunter and UMO.

They any good? @dentalplan @kingcrawler feel like one of you would know

I didn't know but that ^^^^ sounds good. I know they're supports for RBCF and Magic Gang tours as well so they're in company of good bands thus far.

Looks like Belle and Sebastian are testing the waters for a Belle & Sebastian cruise. I like the idea of there being one, but maybe not going to one. Not down for Stuart's school disco or whatever where everyone dresses as public schoolers. Would jump overboard tbh.

Sounds like they're gonna be perfect.

I like the idea of it ending up in Ibiza.

Boy Azooga are one of the most exciting bands I've listened to recently! Only got 2 tracks out so far but debut album in June

This is rad. Nice one.

Is it? Ok, thats now out the window then after getting a ticket to 'An evening with John Williams in Concert' at the Albert Hall earlier today.

Just checked and they are £110 for standard London tickets, with VIP ones going for £250-£950!!

The indie rock scene is going through an incredible purple patch if you know where to look. Take a look at the calibre of bands with upcoming gigs at the Brudenell and then tell me we're not spoiled for choice.

I'm so pumped for Ought and Preoccupations, I've also seen Phoebe Bridgers is playing under the Gold Sounds event.

Second article this guy has written fawning over The Sherlocks this month.

Coachella lineup was the indicator that rock is on its arse. I don't think anyone was looking for R+L to shine a spotlight on the current rock scene.

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
