So I'm going to pretend you asked for artists who've not played yet without mentioning whether they ever will. So, who hasn't done it yet? In terms of big hitters, Elton John is the big one that springs to mind, I can't think of a single act bigger than him who's not already played. I can't believe that nobody has picked up on how incredibly rude this post is

Mardy
There's always going to be gap into which some acts fall, they don't really know/get/understand the cultural significance of the festival and/or they're not willing to take a reduced payday. That, i reckon, accounts for 90% of the missing acts. Bands like Santana, they ain't cheap, and why would they reduce their fees? Glastonbury means nothing to them

a6l6e6x
I think Steel Panther would actually go down pretty well. Not sure how the BBC would react to them however. Has Billy Ocean ever done it? He's touring around the time this year and just seems like he would be a great fit.

rumpola
The Presidents of the United States of America. Eric B and Rakim Ice Cube Daft Punk Kraftwerk Busta Rhymes Ray LaMontagne UB40 The Walkmen Lynyrd Skynyrd Creedence Clearwater Revival I'm not 100% sure if these haven't played the festival in the past, or if they are still performing, but I would love to see any of them at the festival at some point. I wasn't sure about Daft Punk but I am gutted I've missed John Fogerty (if he appeared after my 1st time in 99)

Only thing I could find online was from this site saying they were rumoured for 1999. They did play Reading 92 so theyve defo done festivals over here before. Edit - it would have been jazzworld but you know what I mean. I used to get Jazzworld passes and camping back in those days so how I missed it I have no idea. Probably something to do with being constantly hammered trying to forget how bad the weather was that year.
