She did. Not sure if she made similar comments last year? If so then you'd assume if she told the truth last year then she'd not be playing foul this time around.

Pretty sure in 2014 or 2015 either her or Michael said 1st April and it ended up coming a bit later. I think Neil said at the time he thought the 1st of April was just the earliest they were allowed to announce it or something.

As far as I'm aware, the general arrangement made with agents, etc, when doing the bookings is that they won't be announced before 1st april (tho with exceptions for headliners, etc).

It's possible they've made a different announcement date commitment for this year, tho I don't think it's too likely. It's one of the trade-offs that happens for the cheaper bookings, i think, so that those who pay full fee for acts get the chance to announce and sell tickets.

in 2013 and 2016 the first poster was out before 1st April.
