On their website it just says it's her first UK headline performance after the release of her new album, so I guess there must be something in the press release saying she's an exclusive @eFestivals?

It's in the blurb on the Latitude site.

In a UK Festival Exclusive, we are excited to reveal that ultimate Californian dream-pop sad girl Lana Del Rey is our Sunday headliner. It will be her first headline show in the UK since the release of her No.1 album Lust For Life.

I don't think that all. I think 5 of the 6 acts are utter shite.

I can tell you watching The Cure is like watching paint dry. Have you ever seen them?

I've seen them. It was pretty great.

I've also seen Noel Gallagher, and for the first 50 minutes it was one of the most boring sets I've ever been at - until right at the end when he dropped a couple Oasis tracks and the crowd decided to pay attention for the first time.

Yes I saw them at Leeds 2012 and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Also saw them at Wembley Arena in 2016 and they were great once again.

Edit: And yeah I've seen Noely G and Biffy too and neither were anywhere near as good as The Cure.

Oh wow dunno how I missed that. Works for me, wasn't excited about seeing her again.

Not to be rude but was this also the same user who had them rumoured for latitude?

Not rude, hands up the latitude one wasn't right. The person who told me about it really had no right knowing about Latitude, so maybe I should have had more foresight on that one, but that's the beauty of a rumours thread!

Trnsmt I know for a fact

I missed her last time (although the reviews weren't exactly kind) so wouldn't have minded seeing her, but I'm not exactly crushed by this news.

I was looking forward to her last time but it almost put me to sleep. In fairness I was laid at the back of the Pyramid field half asleep beforehand, so it may be unfair to blame that entirely on her.

That they aren't doing it? Care to elaborate a little further..

Mrs Jass wanted to watch Kodaline I think, which was equally as dull.

Jules also has four shows over four days in Spain that weekend and never usually doubles up so I could tell you that one also.

Fair enough, so TRNSMT is off the table.

They’re headlining Glastonbury, aren’t they?

Well as it stands with our guesses/predictions I wont be at the Pyramid for any of the headliners. I think that may well be a good thing... I can go explore or catch a better act on the Other and also beat the masses to the south east corner....

Saying that with those headliners I think the south east corner may get busier earlier than usual.

I've been thinking this for a while.

Last year I saw all 3 headliners on Pyramid, so would be a fun contrast to do a year where I don't see any.

    • My top 5:   1. Little Simz (her appearance with Gorillaz was also one of the highlights of their show. The absolute winner of the weekend) 2. Cure 3. Rilo Kiley 4. Gorillaz. A bit disappointing set for me, compared to last time. Felt like a bad setlist, whenever things started to heat up, they did some new calmer song 5. Florance Road. The good thing thay came out of the rain is being able to see them
    • So since Andy Copping has stepped down and this new booker has taken over, we’ve had Green Day (who Andy never managed to book) and now potentially Blink 182 (another Andy never got done) is this just coincidence or do you think Andy never actually pushed hard for these bands?
    • After three cancelations in a row  I'm not sure if we should just give up, or chear up cause we got so much closer this time
    • My top 5 (saw 20 in total):   Olivia Rodrigo The Cure Oklou Geese 2hollies   I would love to have loved the xx-show because I love their music, but that one just felt too 2017 for me. Like zero artistic progress   Best concert of last week was Bad Bunny in Madrid on the Sunday before PS though - fantastic, maybe the very best show I have ever seen, absolutely unreal experience.    Also the reason why I felt so relaxed on Thursday I think, even though MA was the act I was looking forward to the most.
